Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for two nights and it's just a delight! Catriona and Ian are excellent hosts with superb breakfasts - home made bread and marmalade included - and lots of gluten free options and interesting choice of cooked breakfast. They also let you use their dining room and crockery etc for take aways! The bedroom was large with a king-size very comfortable bed in one "room" and a single bed and en suite in another adjoining room. The toiletries in the en suite were gorgeous!Home made cakes and proper milk in a small fridge as part of the coffee making stuff. Minor problems were lack of bedside tables so no cup of tea from hubby in the morning!! Also no TV or desk which was fine for us but may be a problem for some. A good restaurant was 5 minute walk away. I'd recommend this to anyone going here

Thank you for your kind review we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us, it is heartening to know, having opened during these unusual times. We note your comment regarding the lack of bedside tables and are sorry you had nowhere to rest your morning beverage. As Rowan suite has a super comfy, super king sized zip lock bed, unfortunately this does not leave room for tables. Although we do not have TV’s in our rooms, they are available upon request and highlight this in the guest brochure we send out prior to guests arriving. We will check with guests upon arrival to ensure they are aware of this in future.

The new owners Catriona and Ian, made us feel so welcome on our arrival and we quickly settled into the spacious room and enjoyed sleeping in an extremely comfy bed with a great duvet. The bathroom had products from Skye in it, which where great to try.
The location is great to explore Skye from. We could get to major attractions like Storr in 30 minutes. The village which Millburn is located has some good places to eat, pubs and a lovely bakery, which makes it ideal.
My favorite part was the breakfast, which included a delicious home made sausage and freshly baked bread if you pick it. You also have lots of lovely baked goods to enjoy. I went home with a recipe for one of the cakes!
A truly great place to stay and worth booking with them directly.

I stayed for four nights with my dog and I absolutely loved it! Catriona and Ian did such a good job with everything. They serve very yummy homemade breakfast and have wee gifts / homemade brownies in the room. Will definitely come back here and recommend it to my friends & family. Thank you so much 🙏🏼😊

Millburn is a great place to stay and we had an awesome stay. The breakfast was yummy loads of choice and nothing was too much trouble. The b&b is ideally situated with OS maps in the bedrooms highlighting some of the nearby walk. The blog is also a great informative read. We could not find fault!

My wife and I recently stayed two nights at Millburn while on the Isle of Skye celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Millburn is set just as you enter the village of Dunvegan. It offers lovely views in a country setting while still being very walkable to the shops and restaurants. For us, it was also a convenient base for day outings to Neist Point and Trumpan.
We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts, Ian and Cat, are so friendly and welcoming. We were in the Rowan Suite, which is cozy yet spacious and inviting. Local artisan toiletries are provided in the updated in suite bathrooms. We were quite honestly blown away by the amazing breakfast and baked goods! It is important to note that they offer delicious vegetarian options, including haggis and sausage.
While there, do take the time to chat with Ian and Cat. Their recommendations were sincere and on-point. Their advice truly enhanced our visit.
To summarize: This is everything that a B & B SHOULD BE! We will definitely be returning!

My Husband and I stayed for only 1 night I wish it had been longer.
We stayed in a few places on our recent trip around Scotland, all very very nice, but Millburn in my opinion comes out on top.
Catriona and Ian are great hosts, only in their second season but doing a grand job.
The Aspen suite was wonderfully spacious with a big comfy bed, spotlessly clean, great shower with beautiful local toiletries.
The delicious homemade cake went down very well on arrival and breakfast was superb. Catriona goes above and beyond offering such a variety of homemade foods. The sweet potato stacks were delicious as was the homemade bread and marmalade.
Everything is done to such a high standard, highly recommend booking a stay here.

Stayed for 3 nights with a dog at the brilliant Millburn Bed and Breakfast and couldn’t have been happier with the stay. Clean friendly and perfectly located to see the Isle of Skye. Space for a large car right outside the BNB means easy access and the hosts and business are very dog friendly.

This B&B was an excellent choice for a few days stop in Skye. The hosts were very welcoming and even left homemade treats in the room! The room was more than amble and very clean. Breakfast was superb and all cooked fresh by Ian in the morning, thanks. We had an EV to charge as well and there is a charger in the centre of Dunvegan which was ideal.

We are glad that you enjoyed your visit to the Isle of Skye and your stay with us at Millburn. Ian was flattered by your appreciation of his cooked breakfast, but it was infact Catriona who cooked it, although Ian does make the delicious home made bread and lorne sausage.
