We've just spent 3 nights at this little gem and would return in a heartbeat. At GBP90.oo a night for two it's excellent value. The entire premises. especially the bedroom and ensuite bathroom, is immaculate and a warm welcome awaits you from Ena and Angus. Our room had a great view of the waterfront and you can enjoy the same view from the cosy lounge that's available for guests to enjoy. A pair of binoculars is there should you want a close up view. It's a 10 minute walk to the Portree Town Square and a rare Skye petrol station is about 100 metres up the road. So tick two important boxes, and a third and a fourth with the free parking and wi-fi thrown in. The breakfast is as hearty as you want to make it. Cereals, home stewed rhubarb and other fuits are on offer as is one of the most generous cooked breakfasts I've enjoyed in years. And if you like kippers you're in for a treat. Ena certainly knows how to cook! Thanks Angus and Ena - we hope to see you again in the not too distant future.

We had 2 nights at Willowbank B and B in Portree, Isle of Skye. What a lovely, immaculate, spotless B and B. The hosts Ena and Angus made us very welcome and cooked yummy breakfasts. We had everything we needed and took advantage of the lounge room to sit at night and look at the view of Portree harbour. The location is great as only a 10 minute walk into town with lots of restaurant choices. The bedroom was lovely, bathroom roomy and great pressure shower. We had a wonderful stay at Willowbank and would highly recommend it. Thanks Ena and Angus for your hospitality. Lloyd and Charlene

My wife and I spent an outstanding, Monday to Friday break in the Isle of Skye, Scotland. For many reasons, I was thankful that I booked directly at the beginning of the year and what we experienced at Willowbank Bed and Breakfast was excellent from the moment we were welcomed. It was quite simply the best of Scottish hospitality and provision throughout our stay. The friendliness, assistance and expertise of Mr and Mrs MacPhee was evident in what we experienced from the first to last moments. Their extensive ability and experience in the Hospitality and Building trades can be clearly seen in the constant attention to detail in all the aspects of our experience. They helped us greatly with the culture and suggested preferred routes, places to eat, etc., for each day’s touring. Our bedroom benefitted from alterations undertaken by Mr MacPhee and the ensuite shower room was beautifully finished. The house is immaculate throughout and our double bed was not only comfortable burt kept spotlessly clean. During our stay the bath and hand towels were changed and there was ample toiletry and tea and coffee provisions laid out for us. We had access to the Lounge but did not make much use of it due to the very sunny weather each day. We did enjoy the lovely view down to the sea from the lounge window and did not tire of seeing the scenery. The breakfast area was laid out so well that we could choose from a trolley as well as the service of the cooked elements of our chosen breakfast. On the trolley there was fruit juices, prunes, rhubarb and grapefruit, which we could serve ourselves as much as we required. oN our table was home-made marmalade, honey, oat cakes, grapes and nuts. Additionally, we were served our choices of cooked food. My wife and I usually chose porridge then kippers, which were very well cooked and tasted just exactly as we enjoy. On top of this we were given toast, which was more than sufficient for us but could have been supplemented. On one occasion my wife chose bacon and eggs and was served a real plateful! The location of this Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Portree was ideal for us. It was central on the island and allowed easy access to places we wanted to visit. These included Dunvegan Castle, Uig and the Trotternish Peninsula, Sligachan and Armadale, including the Clan Donald Castle, Museum and Centre. The scenery was stunning in the beautiful weather and the visits to Donvegan Castle and Gardens, the Angus MacAskill Museum, the Museum of Scottish Life and the Clan Donald complex were all very worthwhile. My intention would be to write reviews for all of these elements of an outstanding holiday. Mr and Mrs MacPhee and Willowbank provided us with an essential foundation for our holiday and I am proud to say that it is five star hospitality in a busy part of Scotland.

I cannot say enough good things about this B&B. Ena was warm and welcoming and an excellent host. She gave us great recommendations for dinner and we loved how the B&B was within walking distance to downtown Portree but off the busy street. The level of cleanliness at this B&B was impeccable. The room was spacious and the bathroom was the biggest we encountered our whole trip. We had the room at the front of the house and our view was amazing! We hope to make it back to Skye and would definitely stay with Ena and Angus again!
