I would have given a poor rating if it were possible. Apart from the fact that this house is really difficult to find which we managed with GPS we did not receive a nice welcome but were asked in a very unfriendly manner whether we were the guys who called by phone because of difficulties in finding the B &...

Cul na Creagan is a family run B & B a few miles from Portee on a narrow road. Very quiet. The rooms are comfortable and the sitting room is particularly nice. We found it very good value especially at a time when rooms were scarce. Recommended.

This house is not well located for Portee visitors. We did find it but only because we had picked up a brochure at the tourist office which had directions on it. I did think at the time that non english speaking visitors might have trouble finding the house. The amenities were tired, the dining room was too small ( the lounge...

I would not recommend this guest house for the following reasons. 1. It is 8 miles from Portree and you would need to get a map from the Information office in Portree first. The road sign to Woodend is extremely dirty and not easy to see. 2. The upstairs room was very small and the walls so thin you can...

We stayed here two nights of our vacation in Scotland. First on the 23rd and second on the 31st of July. This is really a wonderful place, only about ten minutes drive from Portree but still way away from it all. Loved the rooms and the breakfast, and the hosts are really helpful and caring. We just have positive things...

We stayed for three nights in the self catering "annexe" as there was 3 of us. The B&B itself is perfectly pleasant and our host Laurence was very accommodating. The annexe had two levels and I have to say looked rather tired. The decor could definitely do with a re-vamp. The upstairs had a double and single bed and neither...

We stayed in the apartment which is comfortable but the decoration gives a feeling of 'lack of light'. Upstairs the bedroom and bathroom are 'tucked away' in the eaves so the ceiling height is restricted in places. The bathroom is quite compact. There is also a Kitchen area downstairs which has a fridge etc - very useful. Everywhere was very...

Best of both worlds: country location but only 10 minute drive from Portree. The rooms are comfortable, but quite small; Good cooked breakfast. The owners have several friendly dogs, and when we stayed there were a couple of dogs staying too, which we didn't mind, but just be aware of it.

Lovely place in the countryside, near Portree. Calm and friendly area with horses and sheeps around you. Great hospitality with excellent breakfast! The owners were really kind and helpful when we need more info about the city and the area. We slept one night there, but would like to stay more. We loved it.

We had a great stay in the apartment of Cul na Creagan. Larry and Linda were very welcoming, the breakfasts were great, and the location was peaceful and ideal for travelling around Skye by car. The B&B had everything we needed, and had a very homey feel to it. On days where we were to leave early, Larry and Linda...
