Detailed Reviews
Our tour company booked this place for us and we didn’t know what to expect, but were overjoyed once we got there. This is an absolutely lovely b&b w/ stunning views. It’s more beautiful in person. Lance was the most warm and charming host imaginable. The place was very clean and thoughtfully laid out. We had an early morning departure and Lance prepared us an incredible breakfast, graciously accommodating our gluten free diets. Everything about our stay was perfect. Both my daughter and I just really wish we’d been able to stay on there longer.

I stayed at this BnB in the first week of June and had a really good time. The rooms are comfortable and Lance is a great host. The best part was the delicious breakfast - I am a vegeterian and Lance created an absolutely delicious spread of items - I bet the quality and taste is akin to 5-star hotels.
There's also a living room with a beautiful view and a large collection of books (especially about Scotland and Skye)

We stayed here with another couple for two nights recently and cannot speak highly enough about this great B&B. The minute we arrived we were warmly greeted by Lance the owner.
Lance is mine host extraordinaire who went out his way to make our stay such a memorable one. Nothing was a problem for him. We presented him with our soaking wet clothes and he took the effort to dry them ready for the next day. The B&B is spotlessly clean and our room was extremely comfortable with a stunning sea view.
The hearty breakfast in the morning was delicious and set us up for our day touring the Island.
Already looking forward to a return visit

We stayed here for 2 nights as a party of 4 and had a lovely, relaxing break.
Lance was extremely accommodating and friendly, we had the place to ourselves and it felt like home from home. After our day touring the island we looked forward to returning to the comfortable lounge with amazing views over the loch. Breakfast on both days was very tasty and enough to keep us going throughout the day. We would definitely recommend for a quiet relaxing holiday.

Inmaculate house located by the loch, 15 minutes walking from downtown Portree. Lance greets you with the sweetest smile and makes you feel welcome all the time. My room was perfect, with the most breath taking view to the beautiful landscape of the area. By far, this place is the nicest I had been. Thank you Lance, for your hospitality and if you ever come to Mexico hope we can greet you with the same hospitality.

I came across Kerrysdale through a series of recommendations through local B&Bs. I'm short of words for the outstanding hospitality and care received from Lance during my stay. Lance is an extremely gentle, knowledgeable and kind hearted host. He looked after us like a family. Everything about Kerrysdale is full of perfection from rooms to bathroom to breakfast and the general layout of this B&B. Lance went an extra mile and even picked us up from the bus station. We are extremely grateful to Lance for making our stay a wonderful experience!!! We will definitely see you again Lance.

Our family room as well as the bathroom were top. The whole house is very tastefully and lovingly decorated. We felt very comfortable there. Lance is such a wonderful host. Incredibly nice and helpful. Great tips about the place. Lance prepared us a great breakfast and even fulfilled my daughter's somewhat unusual wish. We can fully recommend the Kerrysdale Bad and Breakfast and will stay here again once we are back on Skye.

We enjoyed our stay at Kerrysdale, Lance was a great host. We walked into town from the B&B, and appreciated Lance's restaurant recommendations. It was about a 15 minute walk. We had a comfortable night sleep and breakfast was very nice.

This was by far the highlight of our trip to Scotland! Portree is charming, and the Isle of Skye is magical! The owner & host, Lance Howard, went out of his way to accommodate us! So kind and gracious! Views are awesome! Private bath with your room. Full, freshly made British breakfast. Lance also recommended a tour for us, which was fantastic! Skye Scenic Tours with Donald as our guide, who also went above and beyond! Saw nearly half of the island! Great value, great experience! We've already booked for next year!
