We loved our stay at Glenhaultin. Fraser, Laura and Kim were wonderfully hospitable. The house is special - wonderful "green" construction, which Fraser explained with patience and pride because he built it! Our hosts were so flexible in accommodating our start times (very early on our departure date to make the ferry). The breakfast is excellent and ample - go for the "Full Scottish" to get a classic Scottish breakfast. The complementary Talisker single malt is a nice feature as well for a nightcap. The room was very comfortable and the setting is absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend Glenhaultin as a wonderful place to stay on Skye.

This is possibly one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. We only stayed one night because we didn't have much time, but if we had known we would have stayed longer. The owner is charming, very cheerful and attentive, she made us feel very comfortable at all times. What we liked most was the attention to detail, they have everything you could need. The views are incredible, the house is beautiful and cozy. The breakfast was also great, we loved it. Thank you very much for the hospitality.

This was a wonderful find, Laura made us feel so welcome, even though we were probably her last guests of the season.
The lounge area was comfortable and homely. Our room was delightful, all the usual things you would expect and much more. Quality bed linen, toiletries, coffee machine, the list is endless. Nice touch having fresh milk in the fridge.
Laura recommend and booked a table for us for dinner that evening at a local hotel.
Breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of fresh fruit, pancakes, cheese and full Scottish fare.
We would certainly recommend this B&B to anyone travelling to Skye.
Thank you

Absolutely superb guest house, in a stunning location. Lovely owners, who couldn't be more helpful and with a complimentary choice of whiskey, what more can you need. This is a home from home, the main room, which is where breakfast is served, is so well appointed and is there for your own use. The room was perfect, brilliant size with a lovely sofa. There was everything you could need, coffee maker as well as instant, a fridge, with complimentary water and fresh milk. Iron, etc. The bathroom was lovely and the bed - wow, so comfortable. Breakfast was fit for a king. Everything was lovely and fresh and such a good selection. The Stornaway black pudding, was the best I have ever tasted. We didn't want to leave, it was a pity we couldn't get in for the two nights we wanted, but can certainly understand why. Perfect.

This is a beautiful B&B on the Isle of Skye near Portree. It includes an ocean view, and the owners, Frasier and Laura, are incredible. Breakfast was a choice of full Scottish breakfast or an omelette and both were terrific. We had a flat tire on our rental car during our stay and Frasier inflated it with a compressor so we could drive to Portree to have the tire repaired. Would definitely stay here again.

Friendly, hospitable owners, make you feel at home. Great reception. Heavenly Accommodation. Ideal location, close to Portree but far from the center allowing you to fully enjoy the wonders of the Isle of Skye. The breakfast was perfect. Fraser and Laura are pampered.

We stayed here as a couple for four nights. This is definitely one of the best accommodation we have stayed in. The room had everything you would need and more. Unbelievable views from the windows. Exceptionally clean and very welcoming hosts in Laura and Fraiser (and mum). Breakfast was cooked well with everything you could want and more. Definitely deserving of five 🌟. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the beautiful Isle of Skye.

Outstanding!! Frazier and Laura ware excellent hosts. Very friendly with great suggestions. Rooms and common areas were very clean and comfortable. Beds were a great luxury after a long day of exploring.

A wee dram of Talisker gets you when you return for the evening.

Cracking B&B. Lovely hosts, very comfortable accommodation, with super breakfast. The views are amazing, and the complimentary Talisker dram 🥃 is the icing on the cake! Would definitely recommend for anyone on a visit round Skye - particularly if you’re heading to the north of the island.
