Ronan House located in the small picturesque crofting township of Edinbane. The village is popular with those wishing to visit the island in a quieter setting than the main town of Portree. Situated only 14 miles from Portree and 8 miles from Dunvegan (home to Dunvegan Castle & Gardens), Ronan House is perfectly situated for sight-seeing and exploring the misty island.

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable B&B in a lovely location on the Isle of Skye. The hosts Ronnie and Anne are so welcoming and accommodating, the room had everything required and was beautifully decorated, with an extremely comfy bed, hot shower and a spectacular view over the loch. Breakfast was delicious with a well presented selection of fresh fruit, croissants, 10/10, we cannot wait to go back!

Stayed a couple of nights and can we say, it was a gem of a find. Rohan House was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming and Anne was the perfect host during our stay. Our room was comfortable with an excellent shower in the bathroom and the sitting room was warm and cosy after a days’ walking, with a lovely view over the valley and across to Loch Greshornish. In the morning we were provided with the most delicious continental breakfast with tasty homemade granola, fruit, ham, cheese and Danish pastries. Great way to start the day. We would highly recommend staying at Ronan House and would like to thank Anne and Ronnie for making our stay so pleasant

Ronan house was a beautiful accommodation with Anne and Ronnie being wonderful hosts. Anne's breakfast was by far the best i have ever tasted and enjoyed very much, homemade scones and other delights every morning. The room was spotless, the views were beautiful. We were visiting family and the location was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again.
Thank you for a wonderful stay

We just finished a vacation to Scotland including a visit to the Isle of Skye. We had read reviews about Ronan House before our arrival and can confirm this B & B is everything the reviews said it would be. The home is well appointed as a B & B. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The dining and living areas felt like home. The breakfast served by Anne was delicious and very plentiful. As an added touch a mini bar has been stocked for guests to purchase refreshments. The owners couldn’t be friendlier and certainly made our stay a memorable one. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay if you visit the island.

Ronan House was our most memorable B&B experience during our recent trip to Scotland. Anne and Ronnie are the most welcoming of hosts, very friendly and offered us great information about places we were visiting. We had 2 rooms, one of which had a great view of the valley below. Both rooms were roomy, spotless clean with comfortable beds and the best shower. The lounge with the fireplace was a good place to relax after a day of touring.

Anne’s breakfast had the most delicious offerings of all the breakfasts we had during our trip. Her amazing baked goods were different each of the 3 days we were there. It was such a delight to try a different breakfast item each morning.

Thank you, Anne and Ronnie, for your warm hospitality and friendly welcome.

This we agreed was the best stay we had on our recent trip to Scotland incorporating Skye into our NC500 trip. Anne was lovely and made us a gorgeous breakfast with everything you could think off including her homemade overnight oats. I need the recipe as I’ve tried to recreate this and it was no where near as good lol. The beds were comfy and the house was lovely with a nice lounge to sit in and the view was great. We had such good weather and it was nice to sit out when we got back after a day of sightseeing. Upper Edinbane is at the top but it’s near Portree where we could get evening meals and there were the major sights nearby. We would return to this place as you could do all the walks if we had a longer stay.

Room Tip: Parking on site. Follow your sat nav but keep going as the bungalow is quite a way down the lane.

Rooms were comfortable and had tea/biscuits in the room. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of foods. Always ready at requested time. The view from our bedroom window was stunning and so peaceful. Parking was right there so no need to carry bags far. Our hostess had recommendations for sights (eg: Dunvegan Castle ) which we though had strong historical representation from 1300 forward. We’d absolutely go back to the Ronan House in Edinbane.

This place is a gem. The rooms are wonderful with a beautiful view of the bay, and the breakfast is incredible. Our hostess did everything possible to make our stay nothing less than perfect. For the record, the inn is not in Portree; it is in Edinbane which is a few miles west and north of Portree.

Lovely place to stay! Anne made us feel so comfortable, she really goes out of her way to make your stay perfect. Not to mention Anne makes the best ever breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't want to leave. The rooms are spotless and cosy with lovely decor. The location is just beautiful.

Anne was delightful, food was great, and the view was spectacular! Was a bit difficult to find - our GPS sent us to a field with sheep and cows, but once we found it, was wonderful. She also gave us a recommendation for where to eat - the Edinbane Inn, where I had the best roast beef dinner of my life.
