Ronan House located in the small picturesque crofting township of Edinbane. The village is popular with those wishing to visit the island in a quieter setting than the main town of Portree. Situated only 14 miles from Portree and 8 miles from Dunvegan (home to Dunvegan Castle & Gardens), Ronan House is perfectly situated for sight-seeing and exploring the misty island.

Ronan House was our most memorable B&B experience during our recent trip to Scotland. Anne and Ronnie are the most welcoming of hosts, very friendly and offered us great information about places we were visiting. We had 2 rooms, one of which had a great view of the valley below. Both rooms were roomy, spotless clean with comfortable beds and the best shower. The lounge with the fireplace was a good place to relax after a day of touring. Anne’s breakfast had the most delicious offerings of all the breakfasts we had during our trip. Her amazing baked goods were different each of the 3 days we were there. It was such a delight to try a different breakfast item each morning. Thank you, Anne and Ronnie, for your warm hospitality and friendly welcome.

We just finished a vacation to Scotland including a visit to the Isle of Skye. We had read reviews about Ronan House before our arrival and can confirm this B & B is everything the reviews said it would be. The home is well appointed as a B & B. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The dining and living areas felt like home. The breakfast served by Anne was delicious and very plentiful. As an added touch a mini bar has been stocked for guests to purchase refreshments. The owners couldn’t be friendlier and certainly made our stay a memorable one. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay if you visit the island. Jeff & Kelly Quinn Osgoode, ON, Canada

Stayed a couple of nights and can we say, it was a gem of a find. Rohan House was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming and Anne was the perfect host during our stay. Our room was comfortable with an excellent shower in the bathroom and the sitting room was warm and cosy after a days’ walking, with a lovely view over the valley and across to Loch Greshornish. In the morning we were provided with the most delicious continental breakfast with tasty homemade granola, fruit, ham, cheese and Danish pastries. Great way to start the day. We would highly recommend staying at Ronan House and would like to thank Anne and Ronnie for making our stay so pleasant

Ronan house was a beautiful accommodation with Anne and Ronnie being wonderful hosts. Anne's breakfast was by far the best i have ever tasted and enjoyed very much, homemade scones and other delights every morning. The room was spotless, the views were beautiful. We were visiting family and the location was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay Sammy and Rosie July 2021

This we agreed was the best stay we had on our recent trip to Scotland incorporating Skye into our NC500 trip. Anne was lovely and made us a gorgeous breakfast with everything you could think off including her homemade overnight oats. I need the recipe as I’ve tried to recreate this and it was no where near as good lol. The beds were comfy and the house was lovely with a nice lounge to sit in and the view was great. We had such good weather and it was nice to sit out when we got back after a day of sightseeing. Upper Edinbane is at the top but it’s near Portree where we could get evening meals and there were the major sights nearby. We would return to this place as you could do all the walks if we had a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable B&B in a lovely location on the Isle of Skye. The hosts Ronnie and Anne are so welcoming and accommodating, the room had everything required and was beautifully decorated, with an extremely comfy bed, hot shower and a spectacular view over the loch. Breakfast was delicious with a well presented selection of fresh fruit, croissants, 10/10, we cannot wait to go back!

We were running late so called ahead to let them know. Said not a problem, take our time. We arrived hungry as there wasn’t a place that was still open. She actually fed us some cereal and offered other items as well but we were good with that. The house was beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated as well. Besides the breakfast room there was a full sized living room for the guests to hang out in if they wanted. She was so helpful in assisting us with making phone calls to reserve the ferry off of the island instead of driving the entire time. Great suggestion! We loved it. Will definitely stay there again next time we return to Scotland. Thanks for everything!
