Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Perfect base to explore Skye, 15 mins away from the bustle of Portree. Great proactive hosts, view over the loch, comfy bedroom, guest lounge, delicious breakfast (and other meals by arrangement), spotless facilities, comfortable bed, quality towels and linen, numerous thoughtful touches. Thanks Marjory and Eric for a top notch stay.

Good sized room and large bathroom, spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are excellent with fruit, porridge or cereal, cooked breakfast and toast. Marjory & Eric are very welcoming. You can also order packed lunches and an evening meal, albeit one choice.

Marjory and Eric were the perfect hosts. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. Our room had great views of the Loch. It was lovely and comfortabel with a clean and tidy ensuite. There was a large selection of choice for breakfast including fresh fruit each morning. They also do evening meals, although you would have to book these in advance. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful & relaxing place to stay.

We stayed July 2022 for four nights - and it was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend - everything is so nice here! Wonderful and quiet location (central in the island so a lot of things aren’t too far of a drive), super spacious, very clean and very comfortable rooms. Total privacy. Excellent breakfast. Incredibly kind, sweet and genuine hosts! Marjory is so sweet, she really made us feel so welcome in her warm home. Such wonderful hosts! We would absolutely stay with her again on our next trip to Skye!

Excellent B&B! Very clean, great small touches in the rooms. Family room was great for us to sit and watch tv with our friends after a long day sightseeing. Breakfast was out of this world! I wish everyone knew how to cook poached eggs like they did! Fruit was fresh, coffee was delicious.

The facilities are good and clean with sizeable rooms and comfortable beds. The location with loch and mountain views sets the tone for a B&B that more than meets expectations. Breakfasts that gave us a good start for the day. Marjori and Graham were good hosts, ready to help while still giving us privacy when we wanted it. A peaceful and yet convenient location, a place we would recommend.
