There is not much to say... as all the other reviews say everything. We just loved it at Marie's and Ian's. They woul help us with every request. The breakfast was one of the best we ever got in scotland and the hole design of the b&b is just beautiful.... AND... for the first time... we had our own Nespressomachine... More

Ian and Maree are the consumate hosts and our stay at their beautiful home for three nights, was the icing on the cake of what was a spectacular vacation. The house is beautiful, the attention to detail perfect and the breakfasts were superb - the best of our trip... Lovely B & B on the Isle of Skye. Charming country home with amazing attention to detail. Comfortable spacious rooms artistically decorated. Breakfast is exceptional with local produce and eggs from their own free range chickens and honey from their bee hives. As with the other reviews, we found this stay to be extraordinary. The owners are self assured and have left nothing to chance. Faultless. Well placed for sightseeing the island and luxurious and pampering on arrival.

The reviews say it all! Ian and Marie are brilliant hosts with a gorgeous house and delectable breakfasts. You will be thrilled here with the room, the food and hospitality. They gave great advice for restaurants, bars and even arranged taxis for us. Stay tuned as they look to open a self catering apartment next year. If you plan to... More

My husband and I recently spent a couple of days at this lovely b & b... Marie and her husband Ian run a very clean, modern and comfortable and cozy home. My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time at The Spoons. The lovely hospitality began before our trip, when Marie emailed us with a list of restaurants on the island and an offer to book a reservation for us. (We took her suggestion and had a charming dinner at The Edinbane Inn). The Spoons is a light, airy, wonderfully... More

We wrote a review of The Spoons in July 2015 when we last stayed in this oasis of calm and now, having visited again, it is still quite simply the best! Wherever we go in the World we like to experience the best on offer and be spoilt by our hosts, but wherever you do go - it doesn't get... More

Reading the reviews of The Spoons, we knew we were in for a delightful stay but the reviews are underestimated. The Spoons is the best B and B we have ever stayed in - not for the rooms or the breakfasts but for the host and hostess who cared for us. Marie said " you would not run a B... More

Like all the other reviews, we found Ian and Marie to be warm and welcoming hosts. Ian's cooking was to die for…the granola and tattie scones! Our 1st floor room was perfect, down to the smallest detail. The shower was THE very best we experienced in Scotland. I delight in subtle touches, whether they are visual, textural or audible. On...
