Upon arrival after our long road trip Elaine was very welcoming, our room was nice and cosy ready for us. The area was peacefull, calm, relaxing and just stunning!! Elaine offered us we could use her drying room (and washing machine), which was super usefull for us as we were all day hiking and our shoes were totally muddy and soaked! The breakfast was delicious, we could pick up whatever we wanted, salty/sweet or both :). We made a little lovely fur friend Maisy. Our stay was just perfect! We did a road trip around all Scotland so we stayed just 2 nights which we really regret. Isle of Skye is just stunning so is this B&B! We will definitely be back with our friends for longer time just to relax and enjoy it's beautiful nature there! Thank you Elaine for being such a gret host! Hopefully see you again soon. Everything about my stay in September was faultless. The West Room was superb with sofa and desk and very roomy for an extended stay. Spotlessly clean with all the necessary Covid cleaning and sanitisation provisions in place. Elaine and Maisie were the perfect hosts between them although Maisie did get quite enthusiastic at breakfast if I had bacon!! A perfect base for a lot of walking and exploring with Elaine helping to plan routes and with great recommendations. I would say deserves every bit of all five stars and I will be returning!

This is the second time I've had the pleasure of staying at Off the Hill and it's the best B&B I've experienced! It's spotlessly clean. Elaine has taken all the measures possible to ensure it's COVID safe, accommodating 1 bubble at a time to maintain social distancing, and not entering the room during our stay, whilst still ensuing we had everything we needed. The hand gel smelt enticingly of lemongrass, making it's application feel like a luxury! The rooms are beautifully furnished and complete with little things you might need but not thought to bring, like cotton buds, plasters and feminine toiletries. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with so much choice. With notice, Elaine cooked a scrummy fish pie for us one evening when we didn't feel like venturing out in the rain. She would have prepared a picnic too had we wanted it. My partner had a knee issue, and Elaine helpfully advised us on suitable walking routes and provided maps. There are drying facilities for clothes and boots too. The local eateries, pub and restaurants were open and COVID safe. There's so much to see on this beautiful island, with stunning scenery. This B&B is quietly and perfectly located to access it all. Can't recommend it highly enough!

We stayed at this cute b&b for two nights. The place was absolutely gorgeous, cutest furniture ever, also very very new. Cleaning was perfect, everything was like new and so perfumed. The host, Elaine, is the most nice person ever, she is an excellent cook, photographer and b&b holder. She just thought of all you might need and there's even more. If you're looking for a place to stay to visit Skye go there, I promise you will be more than satisfied!

We were pleased to see how quiet and lovely the location was. Elaine is a super host and gave us lots of help in deciding what to visit. Our room was clean, light and spacious with a fabulous en-suite shower room. Breakfast was excellent and set us up really well for the day. Even the weather was perfect. And who doesn’t love a Westie!
