Very tidy and nice bedrooms with a fascinating view from every room in that house. The breakfast is wonderful - porridge, frehs fruits or the full Scottish - whatever you wish Moira prepares it for you :). We enjoyed our stay very much with friends as well as the amazing view from the living room! Hopefully we have a chance...

This was our final B&B on a walking holiday in Skye. Moira was a really excellent hostess and looked after us very well, going to extra lengths to meet our needs. The house has a wonderful location, the room was very comfortable, and our meals were excellent. All in all a real Skye welcome.

We were made extremely welcome and made to feel totally at home in this very comfortable B&B situated on the loch shore. We were able to see seals from the bedroom window! Moira paid a lot of attention to detail to make our stay comfortable and even dried our wet kit for us after a walk in the rain. There...

We stayed with Moira a couple of night during our road trip through Scotland. Moira was very welcoming and accommodating , breakfast was great. We had views on the bay and it was great to see some otters enjoying the sun when we got up in morning. It was a great place to get away from it all and have...

We left The Anchorage this morning after staying a week with Moira, our hostess. We'd already spent a week down in the south of The Isle of Skye and wish now we had spent the full two weeks at The Anchorage. The location and setting are absolutely out of this world, with the shore just yards away, wading birds calling,...

So far, I would say that it has been one of my favorite B&B visited in Scotland. I have been here with two friends during a road trip and it has been amazing. The place is quite and a little far from the main town, but I would say that this gives the B&B what I was looking for: a...

Our 6 month old reservation had been misplaced due to a computer glitch, but we were able to be accomodated. Our friends unfortunately had their bathroom across the hall, but it was solely theirs. Forgiving that problem, the view and the location were fantastic. It is central to all of Skye, so for a multi-day visit, it's a great base....

Beautiful location! Remote and quiet. Moira is a gem. We were very tired of restaurant food and just wanted something simple so bought ready meals in Kyle before going over to Skye. She was quite happy to heat it for us in her microwave and even gave us trays to sit outside in the garden.
