Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our lovely and comfortable queen bed in Anda's beautiful, new home exceeded our expectations! The linens and towels were luxurious; the tv and wifi excellent. Anda prepared a full American or Scottish breakfast on order which was absolutely delicious. We were introduced to fruit salad with Rhubarb yogurt as our first course-so yummy!! The coffee was local roast and excellent. Our room was very clean with everything we needed for our stay! Our host also allowed us to store our bags after checkout until we could transport them. Without any doubt we highly recommend this B&B-best shower in our entire 60 days of travel in Scotland with plenty of warm water! Great value for the cost. Dr Robert K & Charlene STUART

This was our second stay at Anda's welcoming and comfortable B&B. The consistently high standard of our accommodation included freshly cooked full Scottish breakfasts, comfortable, spacious and spotless rooms, and modern bathrooms (including a bath). There is a communal lounge room, with views of Skye and the sea, plenty of parking space and easy access to the Ferry Terminal, Raasay House and the Distillery, by car, or a fifteen minute walk. Thank you Anda for looking after us so well, in your beautiful home on the Isle of Raasay.

We really wanted to stay on Skye but everything was booked. We are so glad we found Allt Arais on the Isle of Raasay which is just a 25 minute ferry ride away. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very up to date. We had views of sheep and the mountains. Breakfast was beyond our expectations. Just so much thought and detail into taking care of her guests. Thank you Anda! I hope to be back soon!!

I stayed for a couple of nights and found everything very comfortable - lovely spacious room, comfortable bed, fabulous views from the bedrooms, good shower, all spotlessly clean and excellent breakfast. Thanks!

We were booked in last minute and our experience was incredible! The views are breathtaking, the room is 5 star and immaculate, better than any hotel I have ever seen. The owner could not be more helpful, and the breakfast is delicious! The whole experience was amazing, it was my husband's favourite part of the holiday! We will be back!

booked in here last minute whilst working on the island and couldnt have been better looked after. Excellent amenities and the food is first class. As we were working on the island out of season there wasn't anywhere open on the island to have a meal and our host phoned me to say they'd checked to see if we could get a meal somewhere and as everywhere was closed becauise it was out of season she offered to make us an evening meal and WOW were we spoiled. Breakfast was first class and set us up for a long day. The view from the front bedroom was breathtaking both at night and on a frosty February morning.(see attached pic) No hesitation to book here again as we are on the island working every 6 months.

My wife and I visited Scotland in mid-May and actually were looking for a place on the Isle of Skye to no avail. So we stumbled upon the Isle of Raasay and Allt Arais. This was the best thing we could have done. While we had a great time in Scotland this was by far the best gem to find!! Great accommodations and views. Anda was very helpful and makes a fantastic "traditional Scottish Breakfast" Lots of good hiking too! We can't wait to go back and highly recommend this place.

We loved the peaceful location, the scenery was stunning and we miss it already. Our hosts were friendly and unobtrusive, and breakfast was simply wonderful. Creamy porridge and the best black pudding I've ever had. Raasay is a very special island, and Allt Arais is an ideal place to stay.
