I misread the ferry timetable so found ourselves stranded on Raasay when we missed the last ferry back to Skye on a dark November evening. Despite short notice the folks at Oystercatcher House made us very welcome. The rooms were clean, warm and homely...guest lounge has amazing views, breakfast was fantastic and our hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This is probably the best example of how to do a B&B I have ever experienced. What a warm welcome, excellent room, fabulous breakfast. Elizabeth & Darryl should be giving classes in how to do B&B. Thank you and we'll hopefully be back soon!

Thank you Elizabeth and her husband for hospitality. Phoned in last minute and didn't expected to find such lovely place to stay. Had best night sleep and tasty breakfast. Great price comparing with Isle of Skye. Hoping to go back sometimes and explore Raasay more.

We just left the island and are still very much excited about our stay with Elizabeth and Darryl. The two are amazing hosts offering anything from advice on the nicest spots on the island to an impressive choice of breakfasts. The rooms are perfectly clean and well equipped. I whish every commercial hotel was up to these standards.
