We booked the Dalmore house in Braemar as we were attending a friends wedding at Mar Lodge 10 minutes away from Braemar, and the owners were kind enough to allow us to check in earlier in the afternoon so that we could get to the wedding ceremony in time. We were very thankful for this as we had tried another... More

Thank you for your excellent review, which made us smile. We are glad you enjoyed the breakfast. We must apologise for the lack of soap. We usually supply a small bar to every guest and it must have just been an oversight with doing the room in a hurry. So sorry. Marilyn More

My husband and I only decided to visit Breamar for an impromptu trip a day before setting off. We are so glad we did! Marilyn and Richard, the owners of Dalmore House could not have made us feel more welcome. One feels completely relaxed here and the place is a home from home. Richard has a wealth of knowledge about... More

Dalmore house is in the perfect position right in the centre of the village. Clean and comfortable, great breakfast and Marilyn and Richard have a wealth of knowledge of the area. A must stay if you are exploring the highlands.

I've stayed here a couple of times now while skiing at Glenshee. Last time I was with my 7 year old son. Richard and Marilyn are very hospitable and run an excellent B&B. The rooms are comfortable and warm and the breakfast is fantastic.

B&B is centrally located and has parking. The rooms were a good size, not the most modern but had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The owners Richard and Marilyn were very welcoming and Richard was knowledgable about local walks. Breakfast was great with a large selection to choose from and cooked to order.

My son and I greatly enjoyed our four nights at Dalmore House. Richard and Marilyn made us feel very welcome and feed us royally at breakfast. We went primarily to climb Munros and found that Dalmore House has all the facilities needed to service the keen walker (drying room, local knowledge and wisdom!) as well as the modern city dweller...
