We attended a wedding at the Taychreggan hotel over new year and had a really good time thanks to Christine and her team, the hotel is down a long single track road but the views/location are worth it. The food was very good including the 2 buffet they put on in the evening, the

We had a pre-paid reservation for Nov 12th and when we arrived around 4pm found out that they were closed. We stayed there 20 years ago on our honeymoon and was looking forward to staying there again. We loved the location on Lake Awe and did enjoy walking around the property.

Dear Sir/Madam, Im very sorry this is your impression of your stay Having spoken to Ben he recalled that you never made any comments regarding your room at any point should a room not be suitable we are always happy to offer an alternative to our guests! Please not the canopy is regularly cleaned with a hand steamer to keep it clean and retain the colour. I only wish you would have raised these issues when you stayed so that we could have rectified them, Best Wishes Christine Fox

Dear LeeBee Unfortunately due to the layout of the hotel, all bedrooms are located upstairs. We do not have a lift unfortunately as the building is 300 years old and does not have the infrastructure required. If you guest has mobility issues we can allocate a room close to stairs to reduce the distance. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further assistance Regards Christine Fox
