Kirnan is a little of the beaten track in the most idyllic spot, we booked through booking.com and was very straight forward. we arrived to Kirnan and were greeted by a whole brood of chickens which was a big smile moment. Ross and Diana were out but had left a lovely note to greet us on the door, we had...

We stayed at the kirnan beg log cabin for a couple of days , access is very steep so you have to be reasonably fit to access. The cabin was well laid out and once the heating was on very cosy. It sleeps up to seven but I think you would feel a bit crammed in with this amount and...

I booked through booking.com which was really easy. I was looking for something with a bit of luxury and a little romantic, off the beaten track but within a short drive to oban. the owner Ross was quick to reply to my email requesting an extra night and very helpful with local information about places to eat and visit. When...

Stayed for two nights, very comfortable bed, lots of 'little touches' that make a stay special, including my favourite fresh milk in a baby fridge so a decent cup of tea in the room (whiskey mac and chocolates too). Ross and Di were very welcoming, the location is beautiful and the breakfast a treat in itself. I'm looking forward to...

Peaceful, relaxing and stunning area especially for walks. Kirnan is a lovely place to stay and the hosts are really nice. The hot tub is amazing and the bbq is pretty decent to say the least! Tucked away in the woods, it's a real gem.

Just back from a week's family holiday at Kirnan Beg - a sort of Scandanvian Hobbit House in a clearing in the woods, complete with its own adjacent BBQ house, and an outdoor wood-fired hot tub, fire pit, pizza oven etc. It's is so far beyond 'glamping' that we can't think how to describe it. It's really comfortable and cosy...

I am (nearly) half way through a solo 5,300 mile bicycle ride round the coast (and islands) of Britain. To help keep my costs to a reasonable level, I have been camping as much as possible - so when I treat myself to a hotel/B&B - it really feels like a treat!! 😄 I was absolutely 'tired' (I'm sure TripAdvisor...

What a find. We stayed a couple of night and were made most welcome by Ross and Diana. The room was spacious with welcoming whisky mac in a decanter, two locally made muffins as well as tea/coffee available. Breakfast was wonderful with locally sourced food and home made bread!! The breakfast room is also where the honesty bar is located...

What an amazing place! Booked to go away for a couple of nights. We stayed in the newly finished wooden cabin, it has its own hot tub and BBQ hut. Such a quirky cabin loved it! Set in 500 acres and even has a honesty bar!! We will definitely be back!

I booked this Estate for a Hen weekend. There were 16 of us. We stayed across the three cottages and the Hobbit House (separate brand new hobbit house with its own separate bbq hut and hot tub). Ross and Diana provided us with venison and pork (reared on the estate) for the bbq. Everyone loved the bbq hut, it was...
