We stayed at Kirnan House on our way to get married locally and we were delighted when we pulled up to the House with chickens on the driveway and the ground unfolds to show the estates situation. Ross greeted us and showed us to our room which proved to be very comfortable and we slept perfectly. He showed us the...

We stayed in the Lodge for a full week with our 4 kids aged between 13 and 2 and everyone loved it. The access is quite steep and our little boy did struggle but the exercise did us good carrying him up and down! The lodge itself is compact and cosy and had everything we needed for a very comfortable...

I have literally just got back from a 2 day business trip where I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Kirnan House. The hosts ross and Diana have done a fantastic job creating something extremely special.... attention to detail is an under statement, fine linen, very comfy beds, wonderful interior design not to mention the exceptional BBQ hut and...

Kirnan is a little of the beaten track in the most idyllic spot, we booked through booking.com and was very straight forward. we arrived to Kirnan and were greeted by a whole brood of chickens which was a big smile moment. Ross and Diana were out but had left a lovely note to greet us on the door, we had...

We stayed at the kirnan beg log cabin for a couple of days , access is very steep so you have to be reasonably fit to access. The cabin was well laid out and once the heating was on very cosy. It sleeps up to seven but I think you would feel a bit crammed in with this amount and...

I booked through booking.com which was really easy. I was looking for something with a bit of luxury and a little romantic, off the beaten track but within a short drive to oban. the owner Ross was quick to reply to my email requesting an extra night and very helpful with local information about places to eat and visit. When...

Stayed for two nights, very comfortable bed, lots of 'little touches' that make a stay special, including my favourite fresh milk in a baby fridge so a decent cup of tea in the room (whiskey mac and chocolates too). Ross and Di were very welcoming, the location is beautiful and the breakfast a treat in itself. I'm looking forward to...

Peaceful, relaxing and stunning area especially for walks. Kirnan is a lovely place to stay and the hosts are really nice. The hot tub is amazing and the bbq is pretty decent to say the least! Tucked away in the woods, it's a real gem.

Just back from a week's family holiday at Kirnan Beg - a sort of Scandanvian Hobbit House in a clearing in the woods, complete with its own adjacent BBQ house, and an outdoor wood-fired hot tub, fire pit, pizza oven etc. It's is so far beyond 'glamping' that we can't think how to describe it. It's really comfortable and cosy...
