We stayed at this B&B on a cycling holiday and the lady who runs it kindly gave us a room with a bath. The B&B was spotless and comfortable and the porridge was really good and just as I like it! The rest of the breakfast was good too. The location was just by the canal path that the national...

We stayed one night at The Corran in room #4 with our 3 yo son. We had a fantastic stay and Jean welcomed us warmly. The décor was eclectic throughout the b&B, you can tell the owners made great effort and thought into the whole place. Absolutely wonderful stay. The room was nice and clean – albeit on the cold...

Stayed for one night. Not the most comfortable bed i've slept in. Room was fine. Staff were friendly enough. Never took the full breakfast so can't comment. The main entrance carpet was very dirty and should be cleaned or changed. It did not give the impression this was 4 star.

What a great B&B and staff member Jean just did us the best breakfast ever. From this excellent accommodation we enjoyed walks, sails and visiting other lovely towns in this area. Also right next to Crinan/Ardrishaig canal, fun to watch the locks in operation, and Grey Gull restaurant lovely for a meal.

Our Ensuite room was very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Service was excellent and breakfast was very pleasant with wonderful views from the breakfast room across the bird filled garden and the loch. A tranquil location on the edge of town.

We stayed at the Corran for one night on a business trip to Lochgilphead and I’m afraid our experience was not as good as we’d hoped and the opposite of the many reviews about friendly service and comfort. When I first made the booking I mentioned we would be traveling up to Lochgilphead after work so would arrive a bit...

The Corrran is well-placed for an overnight stop on the way to the Highlands and we received a very friendly welcome this year, as we have in previous years. The house has real character, which is enhanced by the owner’s interesting choice of décor, and the bedroom was large, bright and airy, with very a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was...

I found this B and B which is a former doctors' surgery most relaxing. I had a superb large tastefully decorated room in the corner - i think it was room 2- with a lovely view over the garden and water. A few yards away is the Crinan canal where you can walk or cycle along the towpath. Paid £55...

Had a wedding to go to down past Lochgilphead and The Corran was suggested as a place to stay. Very welcoming, had to stay up late for u to arrive after a long trip, it was "no bother at all", even offered tea and toast at 12.30am! Breakfasts superb, rooms inside the house brilliant. No complaints at all.

I love this place! I want a house like this (except that such a building in London is only in the banker price range!). Very lovely house, great bedrooms and bathrooms, excellent showers (very important to us cyclists).Amazing garden - see my photo. Somewhere under cover to store bikes (lucky as it rained non stop over night, and all the...
