A thoroughly recommendable hotel. Friendly and efficient staff, good food, comfortable, recently renewed rooms. Will definitely stop again en route to the isles. Family run, could not be more helpful. Efficient. Good choice in the restaurant, well prepared.

This was a bit of an unusual visit as we were 16 mature guys behaving like teenagers on a four day driving break, enjoying the fantastic Scottish roads. We stayed here for one night of our tour and everyone to a man agreed that Brandar Lodge Hotel was a brilliant place to stay. A family run concern, it tried it's...

We were staying overnight for a friend's wedding and found the Brander Lodge to be a great little B&B. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful e.g. they helped us arrange a taxi to the wedding venue and looked into price options for more than one company as they were coming from Oban. They also explained in advance that...

Staff were friendly and very accommodating, the hotel was very comfortable and relaxing and the location (and manicured grounds) were picturesque. Great place to relax after hiking Ben Cruachan, and close enough to Oban to jump over to Mull or Iona. Highly recommended!

We have just stayed here as a group of 16 blokes on a motoring holiday. We were blown away with the warmth and friendliness of all the staff. The food was fantastic. Both, breakfast and evening meal. Excellent on site parking (always a concern for car lovers) Rooms were immaculately clean, with all the features you would expect, with a...

A last minute booking, this place couldn't have been more perfect. Having been camping for the previous couple of nights, we were looking for somewhere we could clean and relax with all our bags - this was it. The service was second to none, we felt completely welcome despite our dishevelled state, and it was so nice to be able...

We stayed in the little chalet outside the hotel and had a great time there. It was really nice inside and had everything we needed. Emma looked after us really well and even lent us a mirror. As there were several of us girls getting ready for a wedding, you can imagine we were grateful for an extra mirror! it...

Lovely hotel with really helpful staff. Surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful. Breakfast was yummy. Home cooked and best quality food. 12 miles from Oban with its ferries over to many islands including a seal colony.
