From the moment of booking to the final goodbye, our experience at Ivybank Villa was superior. Upon arrival we were given the warmest welcome by Tom, Tina and little Pip, their dog. We had long wonderful conversations with them. The decor of the villa was stunning. Everywhere you looked there were charming artistic touches from the paintings to the statuettes....

We had a lovely room overlooking the house gardens, and Rothesay and harbour....Breakfasts were great, and very filling! The bed very comfortable, and our 3 nights couldn't have been any better. We visited during the heatwave at the end of May. Tina and Tom made us so welcome, it was like visiting family. Our family room on the ground floor was lovely, with brilliant harbour views. It was really well equipped, and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, the best I have had at a B&B I think. We can't wait to go...

This was our first visit to Ivybank Villa; we've been back a day and we are missing it already, which I think says it all. Tom and Tina made us feel welcome immediately. We arrived before the 2pm check-in time and Tina kindly allowed us to leave our cases in our room. Tom and Tina provided us with tips for...

Our second stay at Ivybank Villa and this time was every bit as wonderful an experience as the first. We really couldn't have been looked after more attentively. The room was comfortable with a pleasant view over the town and towards the ferry terminal. Breakfast was superb; we postponed all diets until we got back home! Our thanks once again...

Ivybank is a beautiful home with gorgeous views over Rothesay! Tina, the owner was a lovely host making us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. Bedroom was very nice and the bed itself was super comfy. Good location for walking into the centre although at the top of a steep hill so unsuitable for those with mobility issues....

This lovely house is a real gem - our ground floor room had an amazing uninterrupted view of Rothesay and the sea and was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Tom and Tina couldn't have been more friendly and this was without doubt the best ever breakfast!! Great value - we'd definitely stay here again!!

We have just returned from a two night break in Rothesay with out 8 year old and 3 year old. We had a great stay and have to recommend the Ivybank to other families looking for somewhere to stay. This B & B provides a warm welcome and friendly environment. The room was great with a fantastic view. The girls...

We would highly recommend staying here. It's in a great location in Rothesay and is an absolutely gorgeous house, with beautiful gardens. More than all that though, Tom and Tina were so warm and welcoming - and make an amazing breakfast (I think Tina's poached eggs were the best I've ever had!). Tina was so helpful with tips on where...
