We were upgraded to a lovely room overlooking the sea. Room Sutherland looked as though it was newly decorated with designer bed linen. Unfortunately the bathroom was pretty small, with over bath shower and no towel rail to place wet towels. Great selection for continental breakfast. Dinner had an excellent menu choice and expertly cooked. The staff were amazing, very...

We have just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at the Chandlers. Andrew, Allison and Archie made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Kennedy room with fantastic views. We upgraded to this room and were more than happy with it. Very clean homely room. We had an evening meal on the first night which was of an...

All bedrooms were ensuite which gave everyone there own space. The sea views were amazing. The dining table was awesome fully set up for our...

They provided us with an excellent buffet on one of the days and an evening...

Chandlers is an impressive building with superb views over the water. We have been intending to try the restaurant for a while and I am very glad we now have! The food was very good! The service was attentive and the atmosphere relaxed. We were made most welcome and seated very comfortably in a smart well proportioned restaurant. The menu...

We stayed in this lovely quiet Hotel for 2 nights. We choose the Kennedy Room which overlooks the Firth of Clyde. You have to be ‘capable’ to get to this room as the lift doesn’t go that far. Paid a little extra for this larger room but it was worth it just for the view. The Hotel is ‘family run’...

Very friendly hotel, with great food. Ideally situated to make the most of the island. The hotel is on a hill with great views over the sound to the mainland. Our stay was three nights and we ate in the hotel for one of them, The menu was good and the food excellent. I would recommend this hotel and for...
