We loved our stay at Ashfield House. Our mountain view room was finished to a really high standard and the bed was great. The communal areas are also lovely. Cristina was a fantastic host who made us feel so welcome. The location is superb, right on the loch with a lovely garden to enjoy the view. Would definitely recommend and gladly stay there again.

We really enjoyed the night we spent at Cristina’s wonderful B&B. The house was very nicely decorated with great views of the Loch and we enjoyed the small touches such as the welcome card in our room and the whisky on arrival. Cristina and her husband were also really helpful on recommendations for the rest of the trip. Breakfast was also fantastic and some great options. Would definitely recommend!

Cristina warmly welcomed us to her beautiful boutique hotel in Arrochar, where we have spent a lovely 3 nights. We had the place to ourselves and felt so at home and comfortable. With the use of a private sitting room in the evenings and a delicious choice of breakfast in the large dining kitchen, it was just a perfect place to base ourselves, as we explored this area of Scotland. Cristina was extremely helpful, kind and generous with her suggestions and special support for my husband’s bad back. We couldn’t have asked got more and will definitely visit again!! Thank you.

Me and my wife have just returned from a perfect long weekend at Ashfield House (3 nights in the mountain and loch view room). Cristina was a super helpful and a great host, giving us tips on walks, places to visit and cooking us up some superb breakfasts (the vegan pancakes and the breakfast kippers were especially delicious!). A lot of thought has clearly gone into making sure the house is clean and set up for social distancing. Our room was clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. We also loved the extra little touches including our welcome whisky and being able to relax in the sitting room at the end of the day. The location is stunning with some great walks close by and a lovely pub a 20 minute walk away at the other end of the Village. Ashfield House will be top of our list when we return to Arrochar

Amidst the turmoil of COVID limitations, my partner and I were able to very last minute secure a room in this idyllic and charming bed and breakfast. How lucky we were! From the offset, we felt incredibly safe and welcomed by Christina who was a wonderful host, giving us very precise directions and details of the room that awaited us. Throughout our stay, she gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area and for local walks and activities (all within guidelines). The personalised touches (whiskey on arrival, little instruction signs, treats on arrival, tea and coffee in the room) were very high quality, incredibly thoughtful and also environmentally friendly/sustainable. The bed was unbelievably comfortable (White Company sheets, we know that because we had to ask since the bed was so luxurious!) The views from our room of the Loch were fantastic and it was so wholesome and restorative to wake up to for 3 mornings in a row. The breakfast was the jewel in the b&b's already sparkling crown - the food was all fresh, homemade and locally sourced and the small details (jam, butter, tableware) were all very neatly thought out. The culinary nod on the menu to Christina's New Orleans provenance made the selection really varied. It was a wonderful stay that we would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

Becca, I am staggered by the fantastic review of your stay. I am only so sorry it has taken me this long to respond (covid guidelines has kept me rather busy). I was so glad to welcome you and pleased I could offer a safe haven amongst the chaos of year. Thank you so much for your outstanding review!!! I only hope I can welcome you back again at a better time so you can experience the full beauty this area has to offer. All the best to you and thanks again.
