Accessed down a 4 mile single track road, no phone reception and limited wifi - in the most beautiful setting, it makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere when actually only an hour or so from the central belt. The food is amazing, feature rooms are superb and the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about...

Once again visited Monachyle Mhor - beeeeeautiful room, such a comfy bed. Two baths....yes, two baths no less....side by side so if you're feeling romantic and want to hold hands across the taps this is the room for you!! The staff here are always so welcoming and friendly. As for the food - absolutely scrumptious! We can never fault the...

This is the first time I have commented on Trip Advisor. We have just returned from a night at Monachyle Mhor loved every second of it. The staff were very helpful and attentive and couldn't do enough for you. The food was the best I have ever eaten and the room (and surroundings) were beautiful. We will certainly be back...

My wife and I stayed here on our way up north and would have stayed on our way back too if they'd had room. Delighted with our experience. The hotel is beautifully situated at the head of a quiet dead end road, so there's no passing traffic to disrupt your peace or interrupt your views of the glen and the...

Our parents booked us 1 night dinner, b & b as a present to finish our honeymoon and I can see why this is their favorite hotel - it is now ours! From the moment we stepped through the door the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous and views breathtaking - dinner was out of this world...

We spent an amazing couple of nights here. last year (just getting round to the review) . Wow what an experience. We stayed in one of the feature rooms with the biggest bath I've ever seen. The gas stove was a real positive and selling feature (though for us we couldnt understand how to use it properly and had to...

I have only written one Trip advisor review before but I so am genuinely touched by the experience of this hotel, the food and the whole package that I have to pass this on. It has a gorgeous fairly remote loch side location and hills behind it. Although it's been here for ages it must be the energy and genuine...

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights in Nov 2013, looking for an escape after professional exams. We took advantage of buy two nights dinner, bed and breakfast and get the third night free offer. The hotel is situated a short drive from Callendar. We had no problem finding the place as there is excellent signage along the road...

I stayed here with my partner in October for one night in one of the feature rooms. I've stayed before and so I was not surprised by the quality of the food - which was great, but was disappointed by the room. This place is not a boutique hotel its an upmarket B&B with a fine restaurant. B&B for two...
