Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An emergency stopover was accommodated at very short notice and our room was very comfortable with a good shower tray. Good breakfast menu - all the standards from healthy to full Scottish.Overall very clean. Not a holiday stay but good for a night or two. Price we paid was very fair

Our party travel to the Killin area on a yearly basis so we have used other hotels in the area whilst some of the other are good this is definitely the best from the smile and service recieved at reception in the bar or the restaurant educated and efficient staff who all seem to be doing their best for you .Food in the restaurant, there was a good selection and came well cooked (including the blued steak) and served with a smile. We walked the hills in the area for four days returning to our hotel, sometimes wet and always tired ,to copious amounts of hot water in the shower. We definitely recommend the hotel and will be returning next year Thank you

Booked a short weekend break through Best Westerns 2 nights for one offer. Got a room on the first floor with a view. Very comfy bed, room a good size and good shower. Ate at the hotel both nights and food was great - menu a wee bit limited but it was the close season so to be expected. Prices in the restaurant are bar were reasonable. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good. Staff were excellent. All in all superb value for money. Took a wee drive through Glen Coe - scenery not to be missed.

Having stayed at this hotel some years ago, we decided to stay for a night whilst touring around Scotland. We booked a double room which was dog friendly, unfortunately due to the location of a fan heater fitted to the ceiling of the lounge below the room, it was to noisy to stay in ( you could feel the vibration of the fan through the floor. We did manage to get a room move, however the only room available was a twin room. The rooms that we were shown were dated and the décor/carpets are in need of attention. We also found that you are unable to get TV reception in the rooms in this part of the hotel. On the plus side the evening meal that we had was very nice & the breakfast was also of a very high standard & plenty of it.

Tried to book a room , For May and haf gone on many comparison sites to get the best price - tried to book direct with Crianlarich Hotel and they had the nerve to say that they'd never heard of any of them - I was giving them the opportunity to take the booking themselves but was stunned at the exorbitant rates - I said I'd take our custom elsewhere!

Crianlarich is a great little spot on the West Highland Way or, if you're not hiking, it has a train station and it's a 30-minute or so drive from Glencoe Mountain Resort, so summer or winter there are amazing places close by. The team are very welcoming, helpful and the dry room is a fantastic bonus. After a day of hiking you can drop your wet gear and the next morning (or even sooner) everything is dry and nice and warm.

Always a warm welcome with lovely rooms and a fantastic service. The food, both evening meals and breakfast is excellent. It is in a perfect location for Glencoe, the Arrochar Alps or Oban. Or it can be a perfect place to break your journey on a trip further north.

We stayed in Best Western Crianlarich for 1 night stop on our way from Isle of Skye to Edinburg. The hotel was clean with comfortable beds. The room was large and have good wifi. The breakfast serving; however, was miserably pathetic.

Booked up about three months ago for a mystery murder weekend. This was supposed to happen tomorrow night second of December Advised Responsibility, today from the Hotel that has been cancelled due to not enough people attending Not only paid the deposit which we will get back, but we booked our tickets on the train which cost us £30 which we will not get back Hotel should be paying for train tickets as they cancelled, To tell that it is cancelled the day before is disgusting
