Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I had a one night stay at Craigbank Guest house in between our travels from Skye to Glasgow. Veronica and Collin were the definition of hospitable. We were able to check in about 30 minutes early and were welcomed with nice conversations and recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The rooms were very clean, cozy, and the mattresses were very comfortable! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and contained good options and portion sizes. Overall, we were thrilled with our stay and would highly recommend travelers stay at Craigbank Guest House. Thank you Veronica and Collin!

Stayed overnight with party of 5 cyclists heading back from the Caladonian canal route via Glencoe. Met with an extremely warm welcome from the hosts who couldn’t do more to help us settle in. Rooms were fantastic and the guest house equally as impressive throughout. We were recommended to try the local pub for our evening meal which was a great find. Breakfast was fantastic and beautifully served in the conservatory. Will definitely be heading back for another stay within the next few months. Highly recommended.

We took over this immaculate guest house and were made very welcome by the hosts (11 of us) x 2 nights. We were walking the West Highland Way in memory of our great friend Davy Young. The hosts could not do enough for us and were ultra organised. The breakfast was outstanding the beds and bedding were fresh and very comfortable. Showers and facilities amazing. Could not fault anything. Host were very chatty and we had a lot in common. The whole house was immaculate including the outside with fantastic views. 20 out of ten. Thanks guys hope to see you another time.Frank

This guest house is a little gem in the highlands run by Veronica and Colin, who are very friendly and welcoming. We pre-arranged to drop off our suitcases after we got off the train from Oban as we stayed just one night at Craigbank en route from Oban to Glasglow and wanted to experience first hand the beautiful highland scenery. They were very accommodating and gave us some tips for local walks and the scenery was just stunning. Our room, the Junior Suite, had a small seating area which was actually bigger than it looked in the photographs. It had everything that you needed, with a freshly cooked Scottish breakfast the following morning. We left wishing we had booked more than one night so we could explore more of the area.

Colin and Veronica are the most excellent of hosts. Friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious, well equipped and emaculate. I would highly recommend this establishment, when visiting Crianlarich, weather hiking, fishing or touring. (PS: Sorry about the MU/Arsenal result 😁).

We’ve stayed in many good bed and breakfasts but Craigbank really is exceptional. We received the warmest of welcomes from Colin and Ronny, who clearly enjoy running their guest house and quickly make every guest feel at home. We had a lovely stay in a warm, comfy and spotlessly clean room. Breakfast was lovely and we were sorry we were only there one night. Highly recommended.

We have just spent a wonderful night at Craigbank Guest House. What a lovely place to stay! Such a beautiful location, with superb rooms and such attentive hosts - Veronica and Colin. Our en-suite room / suite was so tastefully decorated, with every convenience and immaculately clean. We slept so soundly in a very comfy bed. In the morning, we were greeted warmly by Veronica and treated to a delicious breakfast - expertly cooked by Colin. (Perfect eggs and we can really recommend the black pudding!) We really appreciated the extra touches like the yoghurt granola pots, selection of cheeses and pastries. We loved every minute of our stay at Craigbank and will definitely be returning!
