Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a lovely Bed and Breakfast. The hosts made me feel at ease straight away (which as a solo traveller was great). Parking on site was no problem, the room was immaculately clean, facilities great and the breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend.

One of several places we stopped at on our West Highland Way hike. We arrived after a very long day and the room was perfect with a comfy bed and a great shower. We slept really well! Breakfast was pre-ordered and came with a chat and a smile. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were walking the West Highland Way and our accommodations were made by Mac’s Adventure. Our hosts were just lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was great. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We’re Americans hiking the West Highland Way. This was our 3rd night stop. Rod and Andrea are amazing hosts! We enjoyed it here so much. We got lots of doggie love (if you want it, if not you won’t see them) from their 2 labs. Breakfast was delicious and served with love. We highly recommend this wonderful place. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely stay here!!!!

I stayed with Rod and Andrea for 3 nights while taking advantage of some excellent winter weather for climbing the many nearby Munros. The house was warm and very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and I couldn't have wished for more friendly and helpful hosts.

Genuinely warm welcome from Rod who went above and beyond to get my kit dry, which I really appreciated after a long and wet solo walking day. Lovely chat as he showed me to my room - a single room with everything I needed - it was warm with plenty of hot water, comfy bed, wee telly. Breakfast was great and I enjoyed the aerial view DVD of the West Highland Way playing in the breakfast room! I left with an extra spring in my step after sound advice from Rod regarding more walking and dry gear - he was a star.

We had a great time. Rod and Andrea were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was great. Rooms and beds were comfortable. They were very helpful about hiking suggestions and the area in general. We would highly recommend this guest house to anyone passing through the area or hiking the West Highlands Way.

We are currently hiking the West Highland Way and we arrived broken and drenched after 33 km to Glenardran Guest house. The hosts Rod and Andrea were there to great us with warm smiles, and offered to dry our shoes, wash our clothes and made sure we got something to eat. The room was cozy and clean, we had our first good night of sleep since the beginning of the trail. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. They provided good advice for the rest of the trail, were so friendly and kind, we wished we could have stayed there longer. We also got the chance to pet their labrador dogs Zack and Harry. Overall 10/10. Elisabeth and Catherine

This is a very comfortable place to stay and the couple running it are friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was a little pokey but everything we needed was there. Breakfast is served in a short time frame but was nice and mostly local. The choice was a bit limited but saying that we had eaten well all week elsewhere. Good advice was given regards the pub a few yards up the road and the times they stopped serving food. All in all I would gladly go back for another stay.

Close off the trail and easy to find. Our host Rod welcomed us warmly and gave a full overview of the accommodations and evening eating options close by. Showed us directly to our rooms and explained the working of things. He was very available for any questions we had. Delicious breakfast the next day, perfect for fueling our trek to Tyndrum. But before we left, he and Andrea brought out their wonderful labradors (at our request—we missed ours very much while traveling) and they gladly let us pet and play with them. The space was quiet and offered a very comfortable place to rest for the night. Warm hospitality, good food, clean rooms: everything you want and need in a B&B.
