I arrived a little earlier than I had originally estimated but still within the check in times stated on my booking. Silvia was doing the garden and greeted me as I had parked up before showing me to my room. The property is in a great location set back from the A82, however you wouldn’t notice as the trees block out most of the noise and view. The back garden had stunning views on a clear day of some beautiful hills with a picnic table too. My single room (No4) look out to the front garden (which was very well kept).

The room I had booked was a single room with ensuite which I would say was good value for money. The bed was comfy, the room had everything I needed!

The house had a communal living room which had a bigger tv and books and things to keep you busy after a long day, both that and the dining room were very clean and nicely furnished. There was lots of information in leaflets at the hotel on surrounding areas and things to do, Silvia and Daniel were also on hand to recommend places to visit.

Breakfast was fantastic, eggs were very fresh from the hens outside!

I couldn’t have felt more welcomed after my long day our walking. I would recommend Ewich House and will consider booking again when I go walking at different parts of Scotland! Thank you both (& ellie)!

We loved this place ! Places often say they are dog friendly but then give you loads of rules- really felt at ease with our dog and there was lots of places to walk him close to the house. Our room had been refurbished to a very high standard, the bed was very comfy and the ability to access fresh milk for tea was really appreciated. Lovely, friendly couple running a spotless b&b. Well stocked shared lounge area. Lots of breakfast options. Great value for money..

This gem is set against a backdrop of trees and mountains, just off the A82, so really convenient for our two night stay on the way to the Highlands (though two nights was not enough!).
The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated and very clean. The extra attention to quality products in the bathroom was noted - I especially loved the Scottish whiskey and honey hand wash.
Your hosts will give you a very warm welcome and were extremely helpful with information on the local area, such as where to eat (the real Food Cafe just up the road was lovely).
The rooms are incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was so delicious (with my vegan diet catered for with no difficulty and with extra effort to provide a vegan alternative to the meat).
I would not hesitate to recommend this place and just wish that we could have stayed a little longer.

Everything about our stay was first class. We were a group of seven across four rooms and Silvia and Daniel couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. My daughter and her friend were running the West Highland Way so didn't want the hassle of eating out on either evening. We were made to feel very comfortable on taking over the lounge with our take-away food and drink.
The whole place was very tastefully decorated, the rooms extremely comfortable including a separate bathroom (which the girls used for ice baths for their tired legs!). And, the breakfasts were great, a perfect start to long days in the heat (in Scotland, I know!).
It's ideally located between Crianlarich and Tyndrum, not far from Loch Lomond and only 20 mins from Glencoe. One piece of advice, spend a few mins gaining the trust of Ellie, she is such a lovely dog.

We stayed here while walking the west highland way and would definitely stay again. The location is perfect for walkers - close to the main road but deathly quiet - we slept soundly from 9pm to 7am! Best night sleep we’ve had in ages! Our room was warm & extremely spacious and we struggled to leave the piping hot shower! The rest of the BnB is fabulous and Silvia is a very attentive host. The stand out to us was the amazing breakfast - my sister had the poached eggs which were delicious & I had porridge. It was also very covid secure (and I work in a hospital so take all precautions seriously) and we would not hesitate to stay again!

Booked two nights at Ewich house for three Adults. Ewich house is hidden from the main road but as you approach the property via a small track road you come across a beautiful building in a wonderful setting with amazing views of the hills. Silvia and Daniel are a lovely couple, very welcoming indeed. We were shown round the property and it is beautifully done. A lounge for guests with Tv, books and a log burner. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. My husband and I had a twin room with en suite and my son had a single room with en-suite both had views of the garden. Tea and coffee available in the room. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and very well presented, there was a choice of cereals and a choice of cooked breakfasts. We ordered a packed lunch to take out with us and it was very good indeed so much so we ordered one for the day after when we left. Although times are more challenging now with Covid 19 Silvia and Daniel explained everything we needed to know. Ewich house is a quiet, tranquil place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend and we will definitely stay there again when we next visit Scotland.

I stayed here just for one night on my way south after a weekend walking in Fort William. I splashed out on a double room and it was really lovely, spacious, well equipped, clean, tastefully decorated and restful. The price was very reasonable especially when you consider the prices of other accommodation in the area, this was great value. Breakfast was delicious and they were happy to cater for me being gluten and dairy free. Friendly welcome and perfect for what I needed.

Booked a work trip through booking.com who then advised me to cancel due to Coronavirus restrictions. They indicated there would be no cancellation charge on this basis. Owner managed to reply eventually and refused to honour the refund, had to initiate chargeback in debit card which I had confirmation of acceptance tonight with credit to follow. Very unprofessional attitude and showed no concern for people’s well-being when we are being urged to stay at home to spare the NHS, avoid.

Response from Daniel K, Manager at Ewich House
Responded 26 Mar 2020
Dear Adam this is wrong that booking was done on the 16th of March arrival on the 18th this was a last minute booking. Booking.com has advised all Hotels and B&B to waive the cancellation on the 23rd when the advise came out to close Hotels and B&B (what we have followed) and not before. As you have done the last minute booking (on the day after the advise came out from the gouverment to not do unecassery travel abroad !) we have prepared everything for youre stay as prepared the room and filled up the stock for Breakfast. To clarify we are not payed by booking.com and we also have to pay them commision we can't easly waive a misstake done by a guest what has booked in a time where the cancelation policy comes in place. The cancellation policy covers our cost because of cases like you. (In this case £35 what £5,25 goes to booking.com) I hope you understand it now. wish you all the best and health

Quiet location, despite being just off a main road. If you are a light sleeper you may be disturbed by the noisy floors if your partner gets up during the night. Curtains very thin and therefore do not keep out the light. Quality of the breakfast good with freshly laid eggs from owner's chickens. Owner's cats and dog have free run of the house.

My biggest criticism, in these very difficult times, was the owners DID NOT wear MASKS at breakfast service. Unless you have 12ft long arms you cannot distance when putting plates down on the breakfast table in front of your guests. Having a very elderly Mum at home who we have carefully been shielding we felt we were putting her at risk by their actions. We have worn masks religiously to protect her and ourselves but having to remove them at breakfast to eat (obviously) and the owners not following the guidelines made us feel extremely uncomfortable and vulnerable.

We stayed here overnight en route from Berkshire to The Outer Hebrides. Arrived after a long day’s driving with our two dogs and were welcomed by the delightful hostess and shown to our rooms.
Rooms were bright, clean and very comfortable with everything we needed on hand.
Breakfast was cooked to order and most delicious and the hosts were extremely accommodating of our gluten and lactose free requirements.
Surrounding grounds were lovely to walk or relax in. We will definitely come back here!
