Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and happy to share their home with you. Rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Everything you need is provided, including beautiful views from your window and the quietness of the countryside. Bathrooms are modern and luxurious and the manse has a lot of character - original building dates back to 1804 and it has been restored very sympathetically to a high standard. Breakfast is included and cooked to order. Fresh free range eggs were a high light for us as well as freshly picked berries and home made jams. Delightful. It would be nice to have a small lounge to relax in, but that is a minor point in an otherwise wonderful place to stay.
My wife and I were on our honeymoon on a roadtrip in Scotland and stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast in Drymen. We were truly suprised at the superb quality of the room and en suite bathroom as we had never stayed at a b&b before. The hosts Douggie and Leslie were so friendly and made us a really great breakfast. It is situated in the beautiful countryside close to Loch Lomond and Trussachs national park. Perfect if you like to go for a stroll on some of the forrest paths that run by Loch Lomond. Thank you again Leslie and Douggie for your hospitality. We'll be back! / Daniel & Pia from Finland
lovely welcome from the hosts Lesley and douggie to their lovingly restored home and guest house. not only are the hosts lovely but the house and rooms are luxurious and tastefully decorated and restored to a high standard. sky tv, luxury on-suite, tea making facilities but what a bed! never slept on anything so comfy! nearest village Drymen about a mile away and easy access to all lakeside locations, boat trips. would definitely recommend and stay again. thanks Lesley and Douggie!!!!
My partner and myself spent two nights in this newly refurbished guest house, a few feet away from an old and charming country church. While the wi-fi wasn't working for the duration of the weekend, the purpose of this trip wasn't to remain wired to all modern amenities, so not a problem in our case. The bed was really comfy, and we had a smashing view of the mountains from our bedbroom. Perfect for a romantic stay/walking weekend. Hosts are very helpful and their travel tips spot on. English breakfast is highly recommended!
We booked this lovely B&B for an overnight stay on the way to the highlands. The beautiful manse has been restored over the last year and the rooms and shower rooms are delightful. Stylish furnishings, comfortable beds and period features are reminiscent of an expensive boutique hotel. Excellent value and when combined with lovely surroundings and a warm welcome our stay was perfect! We'll definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family.
