Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We used 3 of the 4 rooms as a family group and all were very pleased with the rooms and breakfast. The rooms are very well accommodated with high quality fixtures. A hairdryer that is better than one at home is a real boon! A cafetière for coffee, so much nicer than instant. We had a splendid visit.

We stayed overnight as a couple with other family members at this recently renovated bistro with rooms. The rooms had been renovated to a good standard and the food was excellent, beautifully cooked halibut being a high point. Public pay for car park accessed through archway in nearby street is right next door.
The rooms are upstairs with no lift. Providing you can manage stairs I would definitely recommend..

Such a lovely room with great attention to comfort and detail. Very pleasant king size bed and high quality linen. Compact bathroom with excellent shower. Everything required is available for a visitor’s comfort. We met the lovely, most proactive housekeeper, who was a great asset to our stay. Having a very good restaurant/café below the room is such a bonus. Parking is very close by. 2 hours free in the day but free from 6pm until 9am the following day, so possible to have free parking during your stay.
We will definitely return: a really great find.

Nearly excellent but the food, it's waaaaay too salty. Have had a couple of evening meals here and everyone commented on the over seasoned food. Had the kedgeree for brunch and was crunching through rocks of salt. Picked out a few whoppers. Downed loads of water and coffee but still left with my tongue tingling like I had licked the actual sugar boat. Great venue, menu and ingredients undone by lazy chef trick.

An amazing hidden gem, conveniently located in the square. The room was a little on the small side but had everything you would expect. Bonus the cafe restaurant and bar was underneath serving a good variety of food. Breakfast was included and was fabulous.

High quality finishings, a comfy bed, ground coffee with a cafetiere and a fabulous shower! All this made the stay so comfortable - a wonderfully convenient place to stay after a fantastic meal. This feels like a real find and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended.
