Like several other reviewers we stayed here whilst walking the West Highland Way. Also like the others we arrived very wet. We were welcomed in and were quickly warm and dry. Given how wet we were we would have preferred a bath to a shower but this was not an option. Our evening meal (has to be pre-booked as the... More

Our very spacious room had nice views on the colorful garden. The old hunting lodge had a very nice atmosphere and the best had yet to come: a superb 3 meal course ended... More

After a fairrly hard days walking from Balmaha to Inversnaid my partner and I were looking forward to a nice warm room and a hot shower. My brother and I stayed here for one night whilst walking the West Highland Way at the end of June 2010. After a refreshing beer in the Inversnaid Hotel following a 14ml walk from Balmaha , we walked up the moderately steep road from the hotel to find the Lodge on the left after about 10minutes. There were 2 residents... More
