Stayed in the bunkhouse while doing WHW. We had a very hard day on the route, weather being not great and few ailments tormenting us so it was great to arrive in Inversnaid. It felt like heaven to be able to sit down in a warm, dry place smelling of delicious food. summary Rooms: Bunkhouse accomodates about 20 people in few,... More

I holed up here during inclement weather. It lies near the crossroads of the West Highland Way, the start of the Great Trossachs Path and the Inveruglas Ferry, for Wayfarers heading down the Three Lochs Way or towards the Cowal and Kintyre Peninsulas. It's also right next to an important RSPB nature reserve. The bunkhouse was booked up when I... More

Our dogs and us had a lovely stay at the Inversnaid Bunkhouse thanks to the staff's hospitality. The bunkside is not in the center of Inversnaid and we weren't expecting the long climb uphill. The hot tub made up for that! The interior of the upstairs restaurant was beautiful. The rooms were very basic and there were one or two... More

The Bunkhouse is a 15 minute walk from the West Highland Way and the Inversnaid Hotel but there is a free shuttle service. The atmosphere is quite charming and there is very good food. There are only two bathrooms for the female guests.

We got a friendly welcome when we arrived from the West Highland Way. Our room was basic but comfortable. We really enjoyed the home cooked food, chickpea and Lentil madras with rice. Nice wine too. Shower was ok. Great company as well.

Arrived soaking wet an hour early for our reservation and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food is a bit expensive but the beef stew was the best ever and huge portions. Quirky bistro in an old chapel. Will definitely visit again!

Located just of the west highland way so we stopped for food and to camp. The camping is expensive compared to any other site I have used. £20 for 2 people in a hike tent. Very small area to camp so very busy with walkers. The price does include a collection service from the Inversnaid hotel. Ate in the bistro.... More

Arrived quite late and very wet and were extremely grateful for the pick-up service from the West Highland Way offered by the bunkhouse when possible. The young man who picked us up was very friendly and jolly and quickly checked us into our room. The room was lovely, almost like a hotel room, and the location of the bunkhouse is... More

Visited Inversnaid a couple of times and is really becoming my favourite part of Scotland. Stayed at the hotel down the road once and seen this little bunkhouse so booked it at a very cheap price. Food was lovely and great welcoming. Nice atmosphere to relax on my rare night off. I travel a lot on my own and with... More

Walked from Balmaha to Inersnaid on the WHW along the banks of Loch Lomond, on arrival at Inversnaid you call the bunk house and they'll pick you up from the route. The bunk house is about 1km from the route but up a hill. They will also drop you back on the WHW the next day. Breakfast and evening meal... More
