We stayed at the Alderdale B&B for 2 nights to explore Luss & Loch Lomond. This little B&B is so gorgeous & could be out of a fairytale. The room & bathroom were spacious & the breakfast basket was amazing. Unlike other places we have stayed the breakfast basket was refilled after our first night so there was so much choice. Annelise was the perfect host, texting us before arrival with all information and offering to make restaurant / activity reservations so we didn’t need to. We would definitely recommend and would love to go back. Thank you!

This cottage was just beautiful. From the outside it looked like a Disney Cottage. Inside had 2 separate rooms - the owner lives a few doors away. Rooms had everything we needed - kettle toaster iron hairdryer. Also had wee extras like bird games card dvds and books. Breakfast was continental with fresh juice and milk, fruit porridge bread croissants etc. Next door is a small restaurant and about 100m away is the Loch London Arms hotel which was full inside but it had a beautiful outside setting (with heaters) We ate in the Lodge on Loch Lomond with a beautiful view and it was less than 5minutes walk away. We are returning to this cottage again and hopefully will be able to get both rooms so we can go with friends. I’d definitely recommend this B&M. Nothing was too much trouble and it was spotless inside.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alderdale! The B&B is quite small with just two rooms, and looks very cute on the outside. We could park our car for free next door, which was great. Luss is a quiet place in November, with lots of places closed for the winter, but the host offered to book us a table in one of the restaurants that were still open. The Village Shop is very cute, I'd recommend checking it out when in Luss.

We had to leave really early the next morning, and the host had prepared a wonderful breakfast that was partly stored in the fridge. Thanks for that!

One downside is that we couldn't figure out how to get the hot water running in the shower.

We stayed for two nights. Annelise let us drop our luggage off early and pick it up after checkout. The two unit B&B was extremely attractive both inside and out. There was no problem with heat or hot water the beed was very comfortable and while not large there was plant of room. A very nice continental breakfast was provided each day. Luss is a small village so it is near to everything. The Luss Rest, a restaurant is next door which served good food at a reasonable price

House and our room had own entrance which ensured privacy, and meant we could come and go as we pleased. Annalise was on hand with a warm welcome and was nearby if needed. Accommodation was tastefully decorated, clean with everything to suit our needs and more! A superb food hamper - quality fresh food and fruit - could feed a family, not just the two of us! Our vehicle was parked in Annalise's driveway - so no parking fees. Highly recommend a stay here. It gave lots more than just value for money! We'll be back ..... even though we live in a nearby district!

This is a wonderful little b&b in beautiful Luss. The lady who owns it is lovely and very helpful.

It was absolutely spotless! The breakfast was lovely and it's so conveniently located. We would highly recommend it to anyone as it's fantastic and excellent value for money.

We stayed in the purple room which is to the right as you look at the property. It's a great size room.

The parking restrictions have changed in Luss due to covid but Annalise kindly let us park on her driveway. It might be worth checking the parking situation a few days before you go in case this changes.

We only stayed at Alderdale B&B one night but we fell in love with this cute little cottage. It is divided into 2 separate suites, each with its own key. We stayed in the room on the left and it was perfect for our brief time in Luss. It's in the heart of the village, next door to the Village Rest bistro and just a short walk from anything you might want to see in Luss.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to move around. There was a table and two chairs by the window, small fridge, microwave, and electric kettle. Annaliese had stocked the room with breakfast items like cereals, yogurt, fruit as well as coffee and tea. It was great to be able to eat breakfast while looking out the front window.

The bathroom is spacious and stocked with soaps and plush towels. It's minor and certainly not a dealbreaker, but one thing that would be a nice addition is hooks or towels bars near the sink, or a small shelf to put toiletry bags on. There wasn't anywhere to stow a toiletry bag so we just carried them in and out of the bathroom as needed.

Luss was very busy with tourist buses when we arrived in the afternoon, but became deserted later in the evening and the next morning. This cute little BnB works great if you want to wander the village in the evening or early morning without all the gawkers. For the location and the price, you can't beat Alderdale BnB!

Compact yet perfect B&B with thoughtful touches (micro, fridge, toaster, plus board games and DVD's!) that makes it a home from home. Beautifully decorated and cosy. Annelise excellent host - nothing too much trouble and very welcoming,
Perfect location in Luss - great walks nearby, super dinner at Loch Lomond Arms and the bistro next door to B&B. Loch Lomond at the end of the street.
Take advantage of parking on Annelise's drive as main street has restrictions.

What are the check in times and is there an evening check in if needed? Kind regards

I can't remember a check in time. The owner lives at the end of the street and likes to greet guests but she gives a key code so you can let yourself in. Hope this helps.

Hello, Yes, dogs are allowed. I must ask that they are not allowed into the beds though. Both the village rest next door, and the Loch Lomond arms allow dogs in. Hope this helps! Annelise
