Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing service as a whole. Friendly, helpful staff. Cosy atmosphere. My partner phoned up last minute as he decided now was the time to ask me to marry him and asked reception if there was anything they could do to make our stay that little bit extra special and they were happy to accommodate. Can’t thank you all enough for the little surprise. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. The view from our room was spectacular. The food was fresh and tasted lovely. Best curry I’ve had in a while. Came home feeling refreshed and can’t wait to visit again x

My family gifted me a two night stay in the hotel, for a birthday present, and we had a fantastic stay. The room was lovely, very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the loch. The food was delicious. I recommend the steak pie, and the apple crumble (not together, obviously!! 😆). Most importantly, for me, having worked in hotels a long time ago, the staff were wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and cheery. Thank you for helping us have a fantastic stay.

Just returned from a 2 day break at The Inn on Loch Lomond. The hotel was very clean. The view from the room window was spectacular. The food was superb. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Receptionist set the tone of the stay with her warm and friendly welcome. We can’t wait to go back and would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely stay. The hotel was warm and welcoming. Lounge area was very comfortable with beautiful views onto the Loch. Bedroom was spacious with all the usual amenities you would expect from a hotel, Border biscuits were a nice touch. Food was very good, with a good choice on the menu. However, the stars of the show were the staff. All very friendly and helpful and happy to take time to engage with the guests. Will be back.

We were passing and called in for lunch, the food was excellent ,the staff were so accommodating nothing to much trouble, next time we are in the area we will definitely make it our base to stay, if the rooms are as good as the food then with the view of the loch its going to be the ideal location to stay.

The food was great, staff were lovely and view from the front of the hotel was amazing. The room wasn't very spacious but liked that there was a dressing table and mirror. Good facilities including iron, iron board, hairdryer and kettle but would've liked hot chocolate sachets as I am not a tea/coffee drinker. There was dust on top of the headboard and ink stain on one of the pillows and was let down by the view from our room. But overall I loved our stay and would definitely come back again.

Hotel in a great location, spotlessly clean, room was small but adequate in facilities, Had a two night BB& dinner with afternoon tea booked but we could only enjoy one nights dinner with one breakfast as my husband was taken ill and we had to attend hospital the over night gentleman on reception was amazing and helped me and my husband immensely in his care. Food was brilliant, the hotel lounge and bar area was great and welcoming wish we could of enjoyed our full stay, highly recommend

Called in on the off chance to see if they allowed dogs in for meal times. They do, so I booked for the evening meal and stayed for lunchtime. French onion soup was amazing. Excellent service, and I'm looking forward to tonight's evening meal.
