Called in on a few nights during a recent stay in the area, my sort of pub, friendly staff & good prices. The musician playing Sat 21st Feb was excellent. Friendliest of all was Champs, a customer's dog; loved him!

Room clean, a cost effective option if on a budget. Breakfast is ok and staff friendly. Only downside is the shared bathroom but what do you want for £45-£50. Good for exploring the area. Also proper local downstairs

stayed there in May 2016 had a nice room and the price was appropriate. The room was really clean. The bathroom though was very small and the shower just a dribble. The lady who cooked my breakfast was really friendly and overall I enjoyed my stay. The bar did not serve food, however I managed to order a take away...

A group of us were working in the area for a couple of weeks and in a bid to find a bar close to our hotel (and cheaper) we stumbled across to The Rhu Inn - and what a great find. Locals keep the place going, but everyone was very friendly towards us, including all the dogs that came in...

We have just come home after staying at the rhu inn for 2 nights. On arrival we were shown up to our room, although it was february there was no heating on. After complaining the heating did come on and we were told they had a problem with the heating timer. Once i stopped shivering the room looked a little...

Popped in for one on the way back from the restaurant. Enjoyed a house whisky and a pint and spent just over a fiver. Beer seems well kept and the place is a real local. Honest boozer. As it is handy for the local Rosslea Hotel it might be cheaper than drinking there. Enjoy

Lovely warm welcome - good choice of drinks at very good prices - only intended going for a quick drink, but stayed far longer - staff were very warm and friendly as were the other customers who happily involved us in their conversations. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Good old fashioned local pub. With snug area which would be great for playing cards on a winters night. Friendly staff and good beer. Full of local people out for a good time. A band played in the top room who where good, playing sing along songs. If you want a local pub the rhu's for you:)

We had a few beers in the Rhu Inn, on a very cold and wet January afternoon, but what was more welcoming was the lovely warm open fire, The staff were very welcoming and service was really quick, we really enjoyed our visit, would make this my regular watering hole if I was a local.
