Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here with work after my original booking at a nearby hotel was cancelled. Absolute gem of a find....Innischonain is essentially a big house set in its own beautiful gardens. Despite being a stones throw form the main A83 road it is very peaceful and private. It is literally 5 mins walk from Loch Lomond. Nice clean spacious rooms with on suites and lovely gardens to wander about, plenty hot water for showers and fast internet and tea making facilities in each room. Superb breakfast in the morning! The owners are extremely welcoming and are more than happy to assist. One of the better accomadation experiences in Scotland. WATP 1690.

Sharon meets you at the door with a smile, guides you to your room, and disappears so as not to bother you. Our room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable. A beautiful yard outside our window made for a wonderful view of the mountain. We slept great, and were treated to fresh fruit, juice, and coffee before being served breakfast. Eloquent host, helpful insights, and a great place to stay the night. Go no further…

What a wonderful visit. I decided to make a quick trip up to Loch Lomond from Glasgow, and Innischonain was just the right place to stay, a short walk from the Arrochar & Tarbet train station. Susan and Robin were entirely kind and welcoming, and I immediately felt at home. The room was well appointed, en suite, very clean, and a really excellent price as well. That of course includes breakfast, which Susan was happy to make to order. There are some stunning hikes within walking distance of the inn, and I genuinely felt lucky to be there. I will remember my stay fondly!

I was made very welcome by Robin and Sharon, and really made to feel at home for my three night stay. No hesitation in rating Innischonain House as excellent overall and for service, cleanliness, and value too. The location is handy for the train station, and for buses too, and very suitable for those looking to walk on the hills around Arrochar.

This truly is a beautiful place to stay, Sharon and Robin are great host's. We've stayed once before and didn't hesitate to stay again. The rooms are airy, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is perfect, fresh fruit, yougurt, cereal, plenty of tea, coffee and toast, just make sure you leave room for Sharon's cooked breakfast. Can't wait for our next visit

Sharon was very helpful and breakfast was great. Highly recommend! We walked around Tarbet and went to the public dock. Had a good pub dinner at Slanj (which means Cheers!) Took a ferry to Rowardennen to join the West Highland Way trail.
