We have had a seasonal pitch on this site from March to October. It is a lovely site in a wonderful area. The park is well maintained and looked after by Anne-Marie and Graham, and the facilities are kept spotless with the help of staff. Pitches are of average size but benefit from water and drainage, 16 amp electric, and a TV aerial. We suffered from the Covid closure as well as others, but the owners were very fair in their compensation. We are really sorry to be leaving, because we love the area and have been very happy on our pitch.

beautiful clean caravan site that has the added bonus of cabins.
Site staff are very friendly and always pottering around the grounds making sure everything is clean and tidy. Great stop off for heading further up north or if walking the west Highland way, site sits at the side of the busy A82 and unfortunately you do hear a bit of road noise depending on your location on site. Will definitely return.

Amazing campsite with the most beautiful views of tall pine forests and a flowing river with bubbling water falls and walks all around! The owners and staff are so lovely and super helpful. They went out of their way to make everything excellent, and so we have booked an extra night on the way back through! I can’t think of a single thing that isn’t 5 star about this place! There is a very clean toilet block and showers, a laundry room with washer and dryer and a well stocked shop. All facilities for motorhomes and caravans such as grey waste disposal, chemical toilet disposal, washing up sinks and the best thing for us apart from the views behind the pitch, is the kids play area! We can see it fully from the windows of the Motorhome so the kids could have fun making new friends and we could sit and relax but still see them at all times.
The river behind the park is so beautiful, and there is a little bridge which goes over it to lots of lovely walks along side the river. If you pop out of the entrance, there is lots within walking distance. No more than 3/4 mins away is the hidden gem, the Gruffalo trail in the woods! (Tyndrum community woodlands, if you put it in maps it’ll show you the entrance on your phone! The figures were lovely and the kids loved hunting for them!) then the green welly stop which we love, a great take away or sit in fish and chips shop and a diner now too as well as a convenience shop.
It’s VERY quiet at night here which is lovely, I can just hear the river and nothing else :)
Thanks so much for a lovely stay! We will be back for sure! :)

We stayed in 'Rum' which easily accomodated 2 adults, 3 children, and 2 large deerhounds! It felt like real luxury, drinking our cups of hot chocolate watching Masterchef.
This is a fantastic site, with lovely owners. The site is spotless, and the hut we stayed in was warm, had a fridge and microwave, and an en-suite shower-room with toilet. There's a useful shop on site and reasonable wifi.
We love it - just book early!

We recently bought a motor home and thought we should try somewhere nearby for our first night away.
We couldn’t have picked a better site.
We received the friendliest and most sincere welcome from the lovely lady in reception and when we explained that we were novices she took extra time to explain everything thoroughly to us, which was much appreciated. She even took the time to give us a pitch away from others as it would be easier for us to reverse! This lady obviously enjoys her job - such a warmth and sincerity about her and a wicked sense of humour as well!
The site itself is pristine - beautifully presented and maintained gardens and seriously not a weed in site. Lots of lovely nearby walks and outdoor space.
The pitches are well spaced out and just such a nice lay out with hedges, walkways and paths.
The toilet/shower block was immaculately clean and nice and warm too - lovely touch having soft music playing too.
Plenty food and drink options in Tyndrum and the on site shop sells all the essentials at very reasonable prices.
I’m honestly very very impressed with Pine Trees and we will always remember our very first road trip fondly because it was so perfect.
We wish you all the very best for a busy season, thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again.
Robbie & Andrew, Inveraray

First time motorhome holiday, and first site booked was Pintrees - such a lovely introduction! We arrived just as it was getting dark, was a little nervous as it was my first time manoeuvring a 7 metre motorhome but after checking in and being given all the information we needed for our stay and directions we headed to our pitch. The drive round the site was easy, nice and smooth, well laid out. Our pitch was huge, so again made maneuvering in easy for a novice. We got hooked up and organised, then had a look about the site. The shower and toilet block are immaculate and warm and added COVID precautions so felt very safe! There were kids playing around with head torches and light up scooters, all having fun which was lovely. We had our granddaughter with us and as I said this was our first experience she loved it - being out playing in the dark. We were only staying for one night, woke up as the sun was rising and had a walk down by the river, spotted some red squirrels. We checked out and headed a few minutes up the road to The Green Wellie for our breakfast before heading up to Sky. Not sure when we'll rent a motorhome again but will definitely be back at The Pinetrees - fancy trying the glamping pods, they looked fab!

Absolute Brilliant campsite.
Spotlessly clean and well maintained, the Wardens are great and happy to help with anything.
There is a small shop onsite with the essentials and some gold panning equipment.

We did do a bit of panning and we did find some gold.

Their facilities were open and spotlessly clean everything in place for COVID,
The Tyndrum Inn is only 5 mins walk away also a petrol station, small shop and the green welly shop.

I used this site as a base to walk the west highland way. The location is perfect, the wifi on site works in all areas of the site. Toilet/shower block is warm clean and pleasant. The washer and dryer facilities are fair priced and easy to use. This place has been perfect for our 10 night stay.

I stayed here (with my own tent) for two nights while hiking the West Highland Way. The initial plan was only one night to do some laundry and charge my battery pack as much as possible. The team of four who were there (forgot their names, oops) were exceptionally welcoming and friendly so I decided to extend my stay for another night.

The facilities are very clean (as in genuinely clean: not a stray hair or muddy bootprint to be found). The showers are hot (almost painfully hot), and the laundry facilities have a reasonable price (3 pounds for washing, 2 pounds for drying).

The park is located on the route of the WHW, beautifully located in the forest by a river. The shop by the reception has some essentials and some snacks (thank god for the snacks)!

In general, 10/10 would recommend it!

The only downside: the tent area is a bit small (so in the summers it might be a bit cramped) on a slight (minimal) decline. The slope is great for preventing water from sogging up the field, but if you're a sensitive sleeper you might notice it a bit. I personally had no issues with it, but I can imagine that some might.

This is a great place to stop over for a few days on your travels up North! The people here are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities are absolutely spotless (there's also wifi, which is pretty rare:). Further, there's a great wee shop to get whatever you're needing, and the Green Welly Boot is just a few minutes walk away. As a new campervan owner, I was still getting to grips with the basics, and the staff (particularly George) were incredibly helpful, taking time to explain bits and pieces and giving some sage advice in the process! The feel of the site was laid-back and people were incredibly friendly all round. Highly recommend!
