Glengarry House is a friendly and comfortable Guest House situated in Tyndrum where the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and the breathtaking Highlands meet. We are centrally located which is perfect for hiking, munro bagging, cycle touring, mountain biking, golfing and walking the West Highland Way. It's also an excellent base for touring by car or motorcycle. In addition to the B&B there is a separate self-catered Lodge which sleeps 4.

Loved our stay at this B&B, a fantastic stop on the West Highland Way. Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful. The B&B is easy to find off the Way (just follow the small signs towards the bridge) Our room was super comfy, the showers were hot and the breakfast was great too. Would highly recommend this B&B if you’re staying in Tyndrum.

Wow what a gem this place is. Hosts Andy and Ellen are lovely and very attentive. Very comfy beds great breakfast and our washing done for a very reasonable price. Also they have a drying room which was great as we had rain on the WHW. Dinner at Tyndrum Inn up the road was also delicious. Highly recommend 🙏

Amazingly friendly owners, Andy and Ellen are great hosts. Ideal stop from the west highland way, clean room and bathroom. They wash and dry clothes for a fair price. Breakfast is great. Should arrive after 3pm for check in. Dinner is available in Tyndrum.

We are deeply grateful for the shining hospitality of Ellen at the Glengarry House! My daughter and I just loved our stay there -- we spent 2 nights, using the day between as a rest day during our through-hike of the West Highland Way. The property itself is spotless and clean, everything beautifully appointed and not one detail amiss. I even fell in love with the hand wash in the bathroom and ended up ordering some when I got home to remind me of our stay in Tyndrum. It was the perfect spot -- just a few footsteps off the Way itself -- and we could easily walk to things in town. There were great reading resources in the common room -- I spent time pouring over field guides and ID-ing many of the plants we'd been seeing. But hey, anyone can run a vacuum cleaner around and wash the sheets. It takes a super special person to be so helpful and resourceful for their guests. Ellen was all that and more. We had some challenges on our hike and she sat with us and helped us re-map some of the parts of our trek so that we could make it all the way through. Plus she was quick with assistance on how to treat an ailing knee, providing icepacks, ibuprofen salve, and good advice! All this between her own day hiking and managing of the property while her partner was on vacation -- kudos Ellen, you're the best!! I am considering the self-catering cottage she runs on the property, so that I can do more hiking in the area. It would be a great place to return. Thank you, Ellen! We loved Glengarry House! Already enjoying the great local artist-made coasters I bought from your wee gift shop !!…

This B&B was conveniently located off the West Highland Way. Follow owner’s instructions to get there….not the guidebook. Our room was cozy and quiet - woke up to sheep baa-ing quietly the next morning. Breakfast was amazing! The owner also will do a load of laundry for you for about £7!! Worth it!! She was also a lovely person to chat with. Her home is also a short walk into Tyndrum, which is convenient for an evening meal and supplies.

What a lovely peaceful place! The lodge was comfortable and very clean, and we had a warm welcome by the host. Being allergic to most things I was glad to have found somewhere that doesn't allow dogs and doesn't use overpowering fragrances. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I'd ever slept in. It's a good base for day trips and hikes in the area, and reasonably priced. Definitely our first choice next time we're in the area.

Thank you Ellen and Andy for the warm welcome to Glengarry House. The room was absolutely perfect for our stay and just a very short walk off The West Highland Way. Breakfast was superb and we're really looking forward to tucking into the home-made blackcurrant jam! Would definitely recommend.

Andy and Ellen were very hospitable and welcoming. The room was lovely and breakfast was tasty - especially the fruit, yoghurt and granola! Situated off a busy road which can be dangerous to cross, but handy for WHW route. Nice hot chocolate available in the room too!!

Well located 10mins walk from Tyndrum. Lovely hosts. We had a nice large bedroom, slight road noise but didn't detract from the stay. Breakfast selection was good and cooked breakfast was excellent. Hosts made flask free of charge. Free wifi . credit/debit cards taken
