We stayed here with our dog as we couldn't find a b&b in the area that allowed dogs. We met a nice lady and her 3 black labradors (would find out later why they had them) and were shown to our huge room. There are two, with a shared ensuite which has a toilet and shower. Lucky no one was...

Thank you for your review. Whilst we aim to offer guests a comfortable and welcoming experience when visiting the area, at the end of the day, it is our home and as such reflects our individual interests. Kind regards, Rosie Lawry

Our room at Tigh Ur was clean and comfortable and the breakfast caters to all tastes. The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful, even offering to give us a lift to the bus stop on our last day. The location is beautiful, there's a footpath that starts almost on the doorstep and leads to medieval Castle Campbell with breathtaking...

Lovely room, small but OK very clean too. Breakfast was perfect, very fresh and tasty, a credit to the owner. I have stayed in many BnB's in this area and will most certainly return to this one on my next trip.

Rosie & Pete run a very friendly small B&B! If you're travelling with your dog, you couldn't possibly do better; there's an enclosed garden and very easy access to the beautiful walks through Dollar Glen and Castle Campbell. You can expect a very warm welcome, comfortable rooms and generous, wholesome breakfast. I have no hesitation in heartily recommending Tigh Ur...

We really enjoyed our long stay at Tigh Ur. This was a working trip for me and it is very convenient to regular trains into Glasgow and Edinburgh yet located in a lovely village. Great location for shopping too. Enjoyed many walks up to the castle and along the hills - breathtaking - and enjoyed the company of other visitors...

Rosie and Pete provided the perfect escape for my very busy business trip commuting to the nearby town of Stirling and then farther afield to Edinburgh. I can't say enough about the location. You have to experience it yourself. Rosie and Pete were super hosts providing a most comfortable private room, upgraded bathroom with lashings of hot water. The meals...

Our family (2 adults and 2 little girls) came to stay with Rosie and Pete over the Christmas holidays. What gracious hosts! We had wonderful, warm, clean place to stay and a delicious breakfast every morning. It was incredible value for the money and we will stay with them again next time we come to visit!

Yet another pleasant stay with Rosie and Pete. The views are lovely when the skies are clear but at least it’s lovely and warm indoors, especially when the log fires are blazing away! The bedroom’s nice, warm and comfortable and the free wi-fi is still working well. I always look forward to the showers because they’re really powerful and I...
