My husband and I, were celebrating our honeymoon at this wonderful place.
We stayed for a total 2 nights. Tanya and her husband was the sweetest people we have ever met. They were so kind and helpful.
The place, in it's self is like a postcard, it is so cute and really beautiful.

We have not been at Kennels Cottage the last time, we will definitely come back!
They were great people and Tanya's breakfast is more than worth a visit :)

Thanks a lot for making our honeymoon, even more wonderful!
Ida and Mads, from Denmark :)

I can't say enough about this place. Beautifully appointed and curated guest house run by Tanya and Alex, both incredibly warm and helpful hosts. Every little detail has been thought through and it makes a difference. The car selection is incredible take the Stag it's a fun ride. Both set routes we were given were incredible and we had a blast. Special shout out to Kieran and Tillys Cabs - great cab firm top lad.

To celebrate my 70th birthday, my wife and I toured Scotland in Caledonian Classic's Jaguar Mk2. We stayed at Kennels Cottage before and after the tour and it was a great experience. The tour itself was also great. The Jaguar ran beautifully and attracted attention wherever we went. It's an experience we'll never forget.

We booked b&b to attend a friends wedding in a nearby hotel. The taxi driver coming home at midnight could not find the Kennels (it's somewhat off the beaten track) and called the 'hostess' Tanya. My husband and I thought he was calling his controller for directions and thought nothing of it. Next morning I walked into the dining room to hear Tanya mouthing off about us and the taxi's late call to the other guests at breakfast. She then made a 'joke' of this but it was an awful to then have to sit and have breakfast under a terrible cloud. I noticed she was considerably more pleasant to the people who were paying megabucks for the classic car package but £80 for a second rate B&B is still a lot of money. I really I couldn't wait to get out of the place. As we put on our shoes at the front door she literally chucked our bags out after us. Nice enough décor etc but what an unpleasant woman.

The weekend car tour and B and B was a 50th birthday present for my husband. We flew in Edinburgh, we're met as promised by our taxi driver and delivered promptly to Alex and Tanya's front door. Lovely warm welcome, shown to our amazing room, ooh and wonderful breakfast the next morning, and every morning we stayed. Then Alex gave my husband his briefing for the MK II Jaguar, and then we were off following the written tour, map in hand. We had a fantastic weekend, The welcome could not have been any better, and the car was just sublime! My husband absolutely loved his present - only downside is that his now addicted to the Jaguar page on ebay, hood ornament and wheel nut purchased so far! Think we are building the car bit by bit! Seriously, cannot recommend this place and the experience highly enough, hopefully we will be back! S and N, April 2015

My wife and I visited Kennels for my big birthday treat - two-day hire of a Morgan 4/4 and two nights accommodation. We were given clear directions to reach the cottage and were warmly welcomed with drinks on our arrival. After a hearty breakfast the following morning, Alex showed us the Morgan - including the vital knack of how to slide into the car as if you own it! Two days driving around the beautiful Perthshire and Fife countryside and two nights very comfortable sleeping in a spacious room - we couldn't have asked for more.

Our experience was marred by the first 2 minutes. The site is below overhead high voltage cables, a (albeit classic) car lot and started with tapping on the window indicating we had parked in the wrong place followed by the intimidating RULE of removing shoes. It was clear we are in someones home rather than a hotel run on service principles. In fact it is an adjunct to a car hire business and perhaps works better in conjunction rather than as a b&b. That said the room, while small, was clean with a perfectly adequate en-suite. The TV was at a neck breaking ceiling height to due to the restrictions of the room itself. Breakfast was reasonable and, again, presented in clean surroundings. Not a great experience.

Arrived too pick up a vintage car and stayed in B&B overnight. We had the car for 2 days and it was brilliant. The B&B was, without exception, excellent. Room and bathroom were of a very good size, very, very, clean and tidy. Breakfast again was very good but noticed no meat choice available although there was an excellent choice of other things. Tanya is an excellent hostess who could not have done more for our comfort.

Hats off to Tanya and Alex for helping to create an epic 25th anniversary trip to Scotland - a true trip of a lifetime. We were made to feel so welcome, right from the start. Our accommodations were lovely, so comfortable and clean, and the Dollar area was beautiful. Breakfast was sumptuous! And, the time spent with the 67 MKII Jaguar, priceless!

The warm welcome, the delicious breakfast. and the well appointed comfortable rooms make Kennels Cottage a very special place to stay. We have visited many times over the last few years and have always been impressed by the way this lovely establishment is run.
