Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have just returned from a short stay at Reubens Highland retreat. We had a lovely few days. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable with a well equipped modern kitchen and cooking facilities. The lodge was cosy and the smart tv and great wifi meant that we could watch all our favourite shows at night! The lodges are situated in a lovely part of Scotland, with some dramatic scenery all around! We saw a Barn Owl right outside in the field next to lodge as well as geese, buzzards and the local Coos! We visited all the local beaches- Camusdarach is breathtaking! The lodge was exceptional value for the cost of our stay and I would have no hesitation in recommending these to friends and family.

We stayed for a couple of days in the Loch Morar Lodge. It feels recently refurbished as others have said and is spotless and surprisingly spacious inside - five adults comfortably stayed there. While the lodge itself is fantastic on the inside, its location is also ideal. It's a short walk to the beach and it's right next to the winding coastal road that takes you past beautiful scenery, including the famous Camusdarach Beach and the extravagantly named Silver Sands of Morar - both are definitely worth a visit. It's also a short drive to both Arisaig (with a good pub) and Mallaig, perfect for getting the ferry to Skye. If you're visiting the area, we'd highly recommend staying at one of the lodges!

Would highly recommend this accommodation. Stayed in the loch lomond lodge , beautiful scenery and views out to the sea. 8 minutes from Mallaig on the B road lined with white sandy beaches! Don't miss Camasdarach beach! It's slightly off to the left and you can't see it from.the road. There's a car park , short stroll through and you're there!! Lots of lovely places to explore nearby and it's not 50mins to Fort William. Watch out for the Harry potter train!!! Ferry from Mallaig to Skye takes 25mins! Just go into the terminal and book it there. Also Arisaig ferry to the small isles is 5 mins down the road. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Peace and quiet too! Don't forget to say hi to Bobby the dog who lives in the field next door, he is loveable. We stayed here for a week , wish it could've been much, much longer!

Stayed in the Loch Ness lodge for 5 days in August - absolutely superb. The lodge is Star Wars themed which is such great fun. Lots of Star Wars pictures, masks and models adoring the walls. We were really impressed with the lodge - loads of space, a lovely kitchen and bathroom and a very comfortable living area. Clearly much money, love and attention has been given to this lodge. parking is easy right outside. A 15 minute walk to the village or a 2 minute drive, with the village boasting a Spa shop, a pub, couple of restaurants and cafes. Lovely sea views from the lodge too. Will definitely return.

Just returned from a week's family holiday in the Loch Morar Lodge. It has been beautifully refurbished, is spacious and modern. As others have said it is spotless and had every attention to detail. Theres a little garden area and outdoor seating but the best thing is the view - oh what a view! From the living area you could happily spend hours just gazing across to the beach and across the sea to the mountains of sky. The view changes with the tide and the weather - its truly a very special spot. Only 2 tiny things needed in our opinion as fellow lodge owners - a mirror in each bedroom and a bathroom bin. Would massively recommend and would return in an instant.

We have just returned after a 3 night stay and wish so much we could have stayed for longer. The lodge had absolutely everything you could need and we were so impressed with the high standard set. Small touches and decor were just lovely. Spotlessly clean and fresh. Location is just perfect for exploring the stunning beaches in and around arisaig. We were in the Morar lodge and the views were spectacular, especially at sunset. Local restaurants were great but also having the option to cook in is appealing also. We will definitely be back and hopefully soon. Thanks.
