Stayed for just two nights in summer 2015 on a walk-in booking and this meant a different room each night, as the hotel was almost full. The bed in the first room was the worst item I have ever slept on anywhere. It was a mixture of ridiculously soft and lumpy, both uncomfortable and making you feel nauseous whenever you...

Here for one night. The hotel itself was OK but it might have been nice if there had been somebody around to help get 2 large and heavy suitcases up a couple of flights of stairs. The room was comfortable but without a sea view. The bathroom was an idiotic design for the space and the ledge over the sink...

Here just the one night. Came on the sleeper train from London via Fort William. Easy walk down into the village from Arisaig station on the West Highland Line with spectacular views all the way. Lovely girl on check in. We got checked in at 2pm with no problem as all the rooms were ready. Nice lobby and all shining...

Stayed for a couple of nights on B&B board. Were allocated Room 13 which was 2nd floor with outstanding views. Rooms really cosy and clean as was the whole hotel. Staff from arrival at reception were so welcoming and pleasant, right through to waiting staff and bar staff in the Crofters Bar next door. We had our dog with us...

Popped in for lunch a day trip trip to Arisaig. Lovely, warm welcome from the bar staff who made us feel at home. We just had starters which were very good and the right size for lunchtime. Reasonably priced and tasted good. I had the Cullen Skink which was delicious and came with fresh, brown bread. Others ordered the soup...

A warm and welcoming hotel in a beautifully remote location. Staff are friendly, down to earth and helpful but not intrusive.. A good base for exploring that lovely part of the world without a car, and refreshingly accessible by public transport for somewhere so remote. Ever-changing views across the sea to the Isle of Eigg. I felt very comfortable staying...

we were touring the area and had a light lunch in the hotel bar. It was not long before we realised that a wedding was taking place later , but that did not affect the friendly and efficient service we received. The food was excellent and realistically priced and the young man in charge could not have been more pleasant

I received a warm welcome at this lovely hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet. I ate in the Crofters Bar where the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the gourmet homemade burger with brie and bacon which was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was lovely too. I only didn't award it 5 stars because WiFi in the room...

Had dinner here on Friday night, was extremely busy even early in the evening. I did not chose well, the Cullen skink was the poorest I have ever tasted. Tasted like dish water with some mashed potatoes and a few bits of smoked fish served lukewarm. Scallops, which were from the starter menu, were cooked well but the chorizo was...
