Another lovely visit to Glengarry, cannot praise the staff and service enough friendly but professional and polite. The atmosphere is very relaxing with log fires in both lounges and also in the reception hall. The location for us is also great and we always look forward to turning off the road on to the drive up to the hotel especially in Autumn when...

If you want to stay in a stunning 5-star resort with style and panache, this is not the place for you. If you want to stay in a cheap motor-lodge by the highway as cheaply as you can, this is not the place for you. If, however, you want to come home to your elegant grandmother's country estate, where the...

Really impressive surroundings. Get your very traditional afternoon tea served in the Lounge or Library, enjoy the log fire and the views of the Loch and relax. The hotel has a mooring for those boating on the Loch (like us) to stop by. We were so impressed we stopped in on the way back too. Full afternoon tea is around...

We stopped here for coffee after our first choice of hotel was shut to the public for a wedding. This was a complete delight, from the long drive down, past the ruined castle, to the views over the loch. The coffee was seriously strong and served up in a proper library with lots of old sofas. Delicious shortbread too. Well...

I unfortunately can not write a review about how wonderful this place is, it is beyond my vocabulary. I was there on the night of March 24th, enjoying the sublime natural Scottish surroundings...I took a ride in one of the boats out onto Loch Oich, walked to the old castle ruins, the river walk and took in every bit of...

This place was all we ever dreamed of on our first visit to the Scottish Highland. A total authentic 19th century "castle" which felt just right: clean and tidy, but not too shiny or modernized to loose all that true Victorian atmosphere. Professional and friendly service, great dinner from local produce in the dining room, and stunning views to the...

As other reviewers have stated, this small hotel has a wonderful location. There are a number of delightful walking paths along the loch and to the ruins of the old castle. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the rooms were quite spacious and beautifully appointed. I liked the fact that the hotel was outside the town the Invergarry. Its...

We stayed for just one night on our return journey to Wales having visited the Western Isles. The hotel is really lovely, and we enjoyed walking through the grounds. The dining room seems a little small but the staff are helpful. I explained to the young waitress that I had an allergy to onions and she discussed various options with...

My partner and I stopped here for a late lunch on our way to the Isle of Skye - unfortunately it was just after 2 pm and they had stopped serving lunch. We opted for an "afternoon tea" instead, which consisted of half a sandwich, scones and cakes with tea or coffee. The food was average and expensive, but the...
