We really enjoyed our stay with Henwerydd-from the first warm welcome from the hostess to the clean comfortable modern en-suite bedroom to the excellent breakfast! We understand the guesthouse is becoming a holiday let together with Hot tub ....would love to stay again in the future with friends and family oh and not forgetting the beautiful views of the countryside 2min taxi ride to Aberaeron

Stayed for two nights whilst visiting family in Aberyswyth .Accomadation in Aberyswyth was full so was lucky to find Merwerydd . Located about 2 minute drive from Aberaeron and 5 minute drive from New Quay . Accomodation was really nice stayed in the Cedar room ,Nice en suite ,large bathroom with shower and bath . Room was good size with wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities ,one bonus was a small fridge which was handy for keeping things cool Breakfast was above average with choice of cereals ,fresh fruit or porridge followed by full welsh breakfast . First time we have stayed here and will return.
The wife and I wanted to come somewhere nice and quiet just to relax for the weekend , when we arrived a bit early lynn said it was fine and give us our Appartment early which was brilliant , we had some friends that visited for the day and we had a nice long coastal path walk to new quay , and when we rang lynn to see if they had a spare room so they could stay she was very accommodating and helpful , you either will need a car to get about or like walking , the views from the coastal path are amazing , will definitely booking again , thanks very much , Steve Nicola Perry and Annette . PS . Hot tub was a nice relaxing bonus aswel
I knew right from our original telephone booking this would be a lovely place. I had gone to book online originally and their booking system was playing up, giving out half price rooms. Not wanting to book and have a problem at a later date I spoke to Lynn, who was very grateful that I pointed it out. Because of my honesty Lynn upgraded our booking to one of their really nice rooms.....and we weren't disappointed. On arrival Suzanne met up and offered us tea and bara brith, which we had in our room and it was delicious. Lovely room (Red Kite) with views over to the coast. Large shower room with double shower and waterfall shower head. Small fridge in the room (in which Lynn/Suzanne had put a bottle of wine for our honesty - nice touch and very much appreciated). Also Suzanne brought us some fresh milk to put in the fridge for our tea/coffee. You have to pre-order breakfast the day before, never a problem for us. Free wi-fi and car park. Breakfast was fantastic. Lovely selection of fresh fruit with pots of natural yoghurt containing honey (heaven), cereals, pastries, toast , etc. before a wonderfully cooked full Welsh breakfast. My other half said the sausages were the best he'd had all week! Entrance and exit from the car park can be a bit hairy but there's a mirror opposite and if you're careful there's no problems. Situated in between Aberaeron & New Quay, both lovely places to visit. Sadly we only had one night here, but I feel sure we will be back as we have family currently living nearby. Thank you so much Lynn and Suzanne for your wonderful hospitality. We will be happy to recommend you to friends and family.…
