I stayed here for a long weekend while mountain biking in Afan. I arrived quite late at night yet the welcome I received from the staff was amazing. The rooms were great and the view was spectacular. An added treat was seeing the variety of animals just outside, like the zebra. One of my favourite things was the restaurant as... More

A friend and I recently stayed at the Green Lanterns whilst mountain biking in the Afan. We received a warm welcome from the girls over in the main house who promptly showed us to our room which was spotlessly clean and perfect for what we needed - a comfortable place to rest after a hard days work! We also ate... More

On the morning that we left Green Lanterns I turned on the shower and while waiting for gravity to bring down the thin trickle I had plenty of time to reflect on what it was, exactly, that made the place so uninviting. After all, our room had been spacious and clean enough, and we'd had a decent night's sleep -... More

This guest house was perfectly located for our group of 10 lads on a 3 day mountain biking weekend at Afan Forest. Lovely views and a great sunset thrown in for good measure. Yes, Wales can be sunny and warm in march! First impression - guest houses is old and has a dated feel but ok. Historical movie posters throughout... More

Stayed at the green lanterns. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the staff was so accomodating. We ate at T bones restaurant and the food was fantastic. We decided to go on a Hack last minute and they made sure we could do I it. I would defiantly come back.
