Are you looking for a family run, friendly and extremely clean B&B in the heart of North Wales? Then you've come to the right place. We are Joel and Tracey, and this is our luxury boutique guest house in the picturesque town of Colwyn Bay, where you'll find that no request is too much trouble. As welcoming to new faces as we are to our many returning guests, our aim is to make your stay here as enjoyable as possible. Colwyn Bay Hotel Rooms: All of our rooms are individually decorated to give you great choice, whether you're a lone traveller on a business trip, or a family looking for a break by the sea. Our spacious family room sleeps up to two adults and three children, making us a great choice if you have a larger family. Children will be delighted to find that the newly refurbished beach is only five minutes walk from our front door! Everyone Welcome Inclusive Hotel North Wales: We are proud to be fully inclusive to people from all walks of life. The LGBTQ+ community will find themselves welcomed with open arms, and we are proud to have full disabled access, with our restaurant being on the ground floor, and a ground floor bedroom available. Colwyn Bay B&B Location: Colwyn Bay is the gateway to Snowdonia National Park. As such, our family friendly guest house is centrally located, with bus and train links to the whole of North Wales, we are only a short drive to Llandudno, The Welsh Mountain Zoo, Conwy, Bangor, Caernarfon, Betws-y-Coed, Anglesey and many other exciting destinations. With so many beautiful walks in the area, you'll be happy to know that we are a dog friendly B&B. Also, we have our own free private parking, which is directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast Menu: Our breakfasts are nothing short of legendary. Whether it's a hearty full English you're after, or a lighter choice, such as salmon in scrambled eggs or kippers and tomatoes, rumbling tummies will not be disappointed! Try our triple-decker toasted sandwich, the 'Bryn Woodlands Belly Buster,' if you think you can handle it! As we are strong advocates of supporting local businesses, you'll be happy to know that all of our food is sourced within a three mile radius of our B&B. We also cater for a range of dietary requirements; be sure to let us know in advance. Take a look at our breakfast menu and see what tickles your fancy. We look forward to welcoming you into our home. Joel and Tracey Toulmin.

Property's Favourite Review
Just had a 3 day stay with my Daughter whilst visiting the Colwyn Bay area and we were highly satisfied with this gem of a B&B. Very convenient for central location being only approximately 350yds from the railway station. At the bottom of the street there are bus stops to catch public transport though to all places to Rhyl and in the opposite direction through to Llandudno/ Conwy and beyond. Very very comfortable and run by a delightful couple that are keen for you to enjoy your stay and your visit to the local area and beyond. Could not fault the food due to the huge choice for breakfast with copious tea and toast if desired if you can still manage it after a delicious Full English. Do not think I would even bother looking for anywhere different to stay if returning to the area as this ticked all the boxes. Went with hosts recommendations for places to eat out and were definitely glad we took their advice. All in all a great visit in a lovely and very comfortable B&B. I personally had the room shown on the top of their web site and slept so well that I only heard the nearby church clock strike once during the night in 3 nights! Must have been something to do with the bracing Welsh air during our stay!

Had to ask Tracey & Joel this morning how many times we’ve stayed at this luxurious boutique hotel and we came to the conclusion it was 7 times. Soon as you walk through the door you are met by Joel & Tracey who immediately make you feel welcome. The rooms are spotless and just make you feel like you’re at home whilst making you feel comfortable. Breakfast is our favourite time as the food is all locally sourced. Nothing is too much trouble and I would probably say we’ve made good friends with Team Toulmin. If you want to visit colwyn bay then this is the place you need to visit ❤️🏴

I was spending some time on holiday in North Wales visiting my family. The guest house seemed an ideal place to stay. It is lovely with lots of character, very comfortable and it had everything I needed.. I didnt park in the guest house car park due to my frequent travelling to visit family. The breakfasts were very good, my room was small and cosy, and the house is traditional but with modern touches like flat screen tvs and showers..Joel and Tracey were very welcoming and their thoughtfulness ensured that I enjoyed my stay. The breakfasts were very good and there was the attention to detail in ornaments etc that you don`t find in hotels. I stayed 5 nights but would happily have stayed more and recommend a stay here.

This is an excellent base for anyone visiting North Wales with numerous places well within a 10-30 minute drive. Accommodation is clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast freshly cooked to order. Bryan Woodlands is positioned close to the town centre amenities, but away from its noise. They have on site parking, lovely clean well appointed rooms, that are the first B&B on our trip to provided a flannel and bath robes, felt properly at home. Received a great warm welcome. The breakfast was great you could have a choice of many items from scrambled egg on toast to full English, or just kippers. The hosts made sure you had plenty to eat before let you tackle your day. The only downside to this accommodation, was the rude awakening in the morning @ 4am due to the local church clock chimes on the hour, these continue all day between 4am and 11pm. Despite the bells a comfortable, pleasant stay.

Thank you so much we are so glad you liked our extra touches, it's so difficult these days to know what guests are expecting so when you are happy it makes us feel happy. The clock unfortunately goes all day every hour and we can provide ear plugs if required. We hope to see you again in the future to explore more of what North Wales has to offer.

Fabulous stay, ultra clean, comfiest beds, friendly and lovely owners. This first class hitel is situated close to the town but in a really quiet position, on site parking. Copious amounts of hit water, lovely extras, like bathrobes, wine glasses, good quality toiletries and plenty of fluffy white towels.
Tracey and Joel are the loveliest people, thoughtful, kind and attentive. Delicious breakfast and a superbly run hotel. Would definately stay here again, thank you for wedding anniversary present too...so kind 💞

We stayed at Bryn Woodlands House for 2 nights. The room was great and decorated to a high standard, as was all of the accommodation in the communal areas. The breakfast was excellent and my Husband who has to have Gluten free diet was able to enjoy the full menu, which is not always the case. Tracey and Joel, the hosts were really friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. Great location for visiting visiting the local tourist attractions. We would definitely recommend staying at Bryn Woodlands and will be back to stay again ourselves.

Stayed for a week using as a base for business. Warm welcome from Joel, large spotless room with equipped en-suite and coffee making facilities. Fast free broadband. Breakfast served by Tracy was delicious, fresh with provenance of meat and eggs etc. Bed comfortable, and off road parking available.
Could not get a better team, well done both.
The only issue for me (nothing hosts could do about) was the church clock that rang on the hour, every hour 24/7. Got use to it after first night, but if you’re a light sleeper, may be worth requesting a room at the rear.
Excellent location for local eateries, shopping and a stroll to the sea.
Highly recommend and will look forward to staying again when in Colwyn Bay.

On arrival I was greeted warmly by the staff. My room was spacious and comfortable. The weather was very humid and staff had left windows open so that the room was cooler when I entered. They had also thoughtfully put in a fan should I need it. The room was exceptionally clean and the ensuite shower was easy to use. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a lovely nights sleep (despite the humid weather). The local area information booklet was very good. Breakfast I was able to choose my time of eating. A serving table was laid with cereal, fruit, yogurt and juice. There was a choice of cooked breakfasts to order and were cooked individually to taste. I loved the that the tables had different salt and pepper cruits. I was so pleased that the hotel was inviting. I would definitely book this again.
