We visit Snowdon from London regularly. The Rocks has the young vibe of a hostel with really comfortable and contemporary design. Perfectly located and favourite place we've stayed in the region. Cant wait for our first trip after lockdown

Stayed as a 4 adult family + dog! Fantastic set up, bedrooms comfy and spacious with plenty of hooks & drawers for storage. Lovely family bathroom upstairs with excellent showering facilities and bath. Cosy living room with wood burner, big sofas and easy to work TV. Excellent kitchen facilities, we cooked a full roast dinner and several other meals. Lovely, secure garden - perfect for a sheep obsessed dog!! Dining table easily seats 6, and plenty of plates/cutlery etc to utilise. Secure entrance to the property and patio area to enjoy. Christian & Annie were fabulous hosts and were always on hand to help. Perfect location for Snowdon and other local activities. We would love to come & stay again.

Our introduction to The Rocks was super friendly and welcoming - the owners and staff are absolutely lovely. We had the double bed room, which was small - not much room for our suitcases, but we new this before we booked. The room smelt a bit musty but nothing too bad, I think it just needed a window opened. The hallways were quite noisy, we could hear people coughing and shuffling about as if they were in the room, this was our only bad experience! Because of COVID, rooms were allocated shared bathrooms - we had no problems with this. The location was great and there were views of Snowdon from the front. We enjoyed driving to Betws-y-Coed for food and it was a short drive from Pen-y-Pass where we started our Snowdon climb, and ZipWorld where we had activities booked.

My friends and I came to stay here for the weekend as we wanted to climb snowdon, and we had a fantastic time. The beds were soft and cosy, and during coronavirus we could book the whole room for ourselves which made a nice haven to rest after a long walk. The shared living spaces were beautifully decorated and there were books, board games and all the kitchen facilities you could want. The staff were very accommodating of our late arrival time and super friendly and helpful with tips for bus timings and car parks. Unfortunately there wasn’t space in the car for my dog this time, but I’m looking forwards to bringing her back to such a wonderful place.
