Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The facilities are very clean and the Wardens are helpful and friendly. We stayed in July and the site wasn’t too busy. The wardens were also very understanding when it took us longer to pack up due to the gales the night before. The dog even loved the dog field and the beach. Can’t wait to go back.

This was our first campervan experience and what a fantastic campsite to choose. The facilities were great, I've never washed my dishes with such a fantastic view! The toilets/showers were spotless, warm and the piped music was a great idea! I would highly recommend this site to all and I will return. Thank you for a lovely few days and making our first camping experience so enjoyable.

Fantastic site!! Couldn’t recommend any more! Ideally located as near the beach, close to Barmouth town and a pub next to the site. There is also a little shop at reception. Staff are amazing and are constantly working around the site and keeping the place spotlessly clean! Gary is a legend! Looked after us and is so friendly! This is the second time we’ve been and intend to keep visiting this site. It’s been a pleasure.

Booked a 2 night stay with campervan. Generous sized pitch with fantastic sea views. Site is really well laid out, spotlessly clean and well kept. Well stocked shop and spotlessly clean facilities. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Never again. It didn’t get off to a great start when being shown our pitch we queried if we were on the correct pitch seeing as we’d booked sea view, to be given a short impatient response. Not the best customer service. The “sea view” consisted of the backs of peoples tents and vans, if I sat in one exact spot in front of my tent I could see a slither of sea, providing one of the vans at the front was out. Tent Pitches on the “sea view” field are tightly packed to the point you can hear every sound a body makes from the adjacent tents. Little room for child’s play around your pitches it’s pretty much a shanty town of tents within a car park. So do not take the pictures on the site as any representation of what you’ll get. We expected the site to be busy, but a little more space would have helped. Just way too crammed, too noisy. Facilities were good but a clean shower and toilet doesn’t make a good campsite. Considering the price of this place the owner is being plain greedy squeezing this many people in. Avoid.

We came for the weekend this is our second visit and we cannot fault the place , extremely clean and well maintained, the shower/toilets are regularly checked and cleaned , the children's play area is great , we walked to the local pub /restaurant which was such a lovely place overlooking a beautiful sunset in the evening , the beach opposite is amazing , very quiet and shallow waters so the kids had a great time , only a short drive into the town , will definitely be booking again ,
