The owners of this hotel are amazing they are really friendly and make you feel extremely welcome. The homemade cake was welcomed after our long journey. The hotel itself is in good condition and in a fabulous location for portmeirion, porthmadog Harbour and neighbouring beaches. The breakfast is outstanding! I would highly recommend for couples looking for a few nights away. Word of advise to anyone visiting during the pandemic make sure you prebook your trips/ meals at night or else you won't end up getting in anywhere.

Leave as friends. Never experienced such warmth and helpfulness as we did when we visited May 26th. Davy found it was my wife Julie's birthday and upgraded to front seaview room (Tonneau-book direct with them) and when we came back from a walk and drink Wendy gave Julie a card and chocolates for her birthday and we had a great chat with them both about life and laughs. Brilliant breakfast to send us on our way next morning when we went to Beaumaris and stayed in well known hotel....twice the price, half as good. Wish every place was even close to as goo as Craig y Mor

We stayed recently in the Craig-Y-Mor on our tour around Wales. Fantastic warm welcome, easy parking and smooth check in. We’ve got an amazing room with a dual aspect sea view, simply stunning. The room was absolutely spotless with lots of lovely personal touches. You can feel that this place is run with a heart and passion to hospitality. Nice quality shower products and a pile of soft and fluffy towels add to an overall amazing experience. In the morning we were welcomed by a truly amazing breakfast. Fantastic continental choice (fruits salad, yoghurts, honey, jams, wide selection of cereals, real plunged coffee and everything in top quality) and the cooked breakfast was simply amazing (again top quality products-nice meat sausage, good quality eggs and bacon, branded sauces available and the best ever fried bread). This place is a real gem in Welsh hospitality sector. It is worth every penny. Thank you again for a fantastic time and we hope to see again in the future.
