A lovely hotel, each room different with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food was very nice with a surprisingly large choice. The room on the second floor was big and spacious with plenty of storage space. Sadly however we only had a shower cubicle and this has such poor water pressure and could not maintain a steady temperature that...

Great short break at The Lion Hotel. This is our first visit to this hotel and we booked due to previous reviews. We were not disappointed. We visited here on Easter Sunday for a drink. My dad is in a wheelchair and we asked if we could sit in the lounge. We had a lovely time, my dad and mum really enjoyed sitting in the lounge. Service was good and friendly. My parents really want to go and sty now. Excellent!

Very friendly staff, my room was very comfy, facing the sea, lovely wet room which was an added bonus. Meals were good, very good variety at all meal times, plenty of choices for carnivores and vegetarians. The management had laid on entertainment which was excellent. Lounge was very comfy with a variety of seating areas and a super open fire....
