Spent a lovely weekend in Dolgellau staying at the "Ship" ( weekend of the Cader Race) The refurbishment is tasteful and relaxing & very cleverly done. My room was excellent, bed very comfortable & I especially liked the bathroom & shower. Every member of staff was helpful, friendly & courteous, the whole atmosphere was happy & relaxed. My partner & I visited here on our first night of our holiday and we were both stunned by the quality, service and value of the Royal Ship Hotel. The good was incredible! We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting North Wales! Lovely people, amazing food, and wonderful setting!

This hotel has been refurbished throughout since my last visit and has been transformed, both internally and from a customer service perspective. The rooms are clean & comfortable and the staff are justifiably proud of their 'new' hotel. They could not have been more helpful and friendly - a total contrast to my last trip there a year or so...

We stayed at The Royal Ship Hotel for 2 nights. The town is lovely and is conveniently located for a mountain bike trip to Coed Y Brennin or exploring this beautiful part of Wales. We booked a last minute 2 night stay in The Ship as we fancied a short break in Wales. The value was fantastic, we booked the standard room the rate which was a lot lower than some of the other rooms but we were very happy with it.
