This was our second time staying at Plas Gwyn cottage and both times we have had a lovely, cosy and welcoming stay. The cottage is lovely and clean (covid clean) and well stocked. A lovely fresh loaf and biscuits to greet us on our arrival, lovely small touch and going that extra mile. Excellent communication from the owner. Will definitely visit again
Just had a lovely 2 night stay in the Plas Gwyn B&b. Our room at the top of the house had a small sash window to the front of the property. A double sleigh bed .and lots of dark wood furniture. A feature fireplace and a modern shower room complete with beams. Every thing suited the house style. Very quite . Breakfast was served in the lovely dining room that over looks the rear garden . Table cloths and fine china . Lovely menu choice . All served and cooked beautifully. The owners were very friendly and professional. There’s a car parking area in the courtyard . And a couple of Private garden areas to sit in the evening With a glass of wine . Lots of restaurants and bars in the village ,so after a day exploring it’s nice to come back here .
We stayed for one night at Plas Gwyn after walking in the area. We were given a very warm welcome and made to feel at home. The room was very clean, comfortable and we were left welsh cakes and fudge in our room which was lovely to arrive to. The B&B is in a great location, right in the middle of town. We ate out at the local Torrents Walk hotel and had a lovely meal and a few pints of the local beers. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and the owners were so attentive and made sure we had everything that we wanted. We would definitely return and recommend the B&B to others.
We came away for a weekend break of walking and cycling. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay! The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Customer service was top class and they were more than happy to help with route planning for walks in the local area. The breakfast was also excellent. We would highly recommend Plas Gwyn and look forward to returning in the future.
What a delightful base to explore this beautiful location. Ideally situated close to the town centre ( with plenty’s of food and drinks options) plus good parking facilities. The building is full of history and charm with tasteful decoration and furniture to suit. Our room was perfect, spacious, quiet, overlooking the garden and with a comfortable four post bed. Breakfast was top class...perfectly cooked, generous and in a beautiful dining room. Our hosts jan and Julie could not have been better ....full of great tips on walks, food choices, transport.....everything! But importantly making you genuinely welcome in their home. The trip advisor rating is well deserved
