What a lovely place. We stayed there for a weekend (6th-8th May) and what a choice it was!! Amazing location, peace and quiet, on the hill surrounded by nature! Staff was great and very helpful. There were people returning there regularly and I'm not surprised at all why. Food was delicious as well. If you're going to visit Snowdonia -...

I stayed here for work reasons and it was just my cup of tea!! Three houses converted into one, dating back over five hundred years! The location was breath taking, and I was fascinated by the many original and restored features in the property. However, my room was up a spiral staircase with no handrail, which didn't bother me at...

Went with my misus and her cousin for the Easter Weekend. As we booked for this getaway very late, so had very few hotel options left. So honestly was hesitant to book this one. But oh boy! How wrong was I !!! The moment you enter the property and drive till the main building you just know that this place...

Fantastic hotel with the loveliest staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the owners. The gentleman (Alan I think?) went above and beyond what I would expect. He is friendly and helpful and was very willing to share his knowledge of the local areas and spent time suggesting various activities and places to visit. The room had a beautiful 4...

Having decided at the last minute to spend our weekend in Snowdonia and wanted to take our little dog, it wasn't an easy task to find a nice hotel, let alone one that accepted dogs. This one was perfect. Allan and his team were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Eden room. Everything was well stocked: from plentiful...

The breakfast was lovely and great choice. Brilliant location for mountains and walks. Would definitely go back again and recommend to anyone. We were in...

The hotel is a beautiful antiquated haven that is professionally managed by Alan - who ensures that your stay is perfect - he is accommodating and friendly. The Eden suite is particularly comfortable with enchanting views of the Forrest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for a stop over for exploring Snowdon. Breakfast was perfect and all...

Tris was our second stay here and it was as good as the first one. Before arriving the owner called to inform us that Hotels.com had booked us into a small room for the 3 of us and he was upgrading us to a larger room. The hotel itself is a beautiful building. We were in Arran, which is two...

Came here on my own, as attending a photograhy course next day (going digital.com) in Forest of Kings. I was the only guest but treated like absolute royalty. Whilst parking the car in pouring rain, was greeted by cheerful lady who took my bags to reception. My room was comfortable and clean (albeit a bit dated) but ticked all boxes.......
